First Time Watching The Texas Chainsaw Massacre!!!

Lol n this was scary to me when I was younger. Leatherface AKA the Beautiful One is always best boy. Now as I got older I've found so many scary delights n if they pop on the channel Ima fan boy out lmao.

I love this movie and this reaction. I've visited a couple of the filming locations. The cemetery at the opening is just north of Austin and the Gas Station is about an hour east of Austin. The Gas Station is a tourist attraction (texasgasstation.com) and does serve BBQ. I've had it and it aint bad. Check it out if you ever visit Austin!

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is not based on a true story. It was loosely inspired by real events. Director Tobe Hooper spent his childhood in Wisconsin, where he heard stories about a local madman who murdered, robbed graves, and even made furniture from human remains. That man was Ed Gein, indeed a real person, but that's where the film's connections to reality end. If there was ever a chainsaw-wielding serial killer who stalked and ate hippies in Central Texas, it is not public record. Just some fun facts.

Oh, the Strangers is coming. If I had to guess, I'd say in about 3 months exactly. LoL And I agree with you. He's had me over here in tears editing this for tomorrow. Wait til you guys see the two rants on the YT version.

Jay….your are the G.O.A.T. I have never been able to watch this movie all the way through until now! I laughed more as if it were a comedy instead of a horror movie! Keep doing what you’re doing! No doubt u and Blank will hit 100k. May I suggest The Strangers with Liv Tyler. Based on a true story. Conjuring 2 is a great sequel. The Paranormal Activity movies are wild also. Thank you both for the entertainment! 😊

Amanda Bates

Loved your reaction! This movie is one of our favorites!

Refused to watch this back in the 70's. I tried to watch with one reviewer and didn't make it past 30 mins. I love this guy, but know i can't watch it.

Saw the movie once..just the look of it made me sick..looked like a 1970's straight documentary..refused to rewatch so just skipped to your end reaction.

Alberto Blanco

Looooooved this reaction so much & btw J they weren’t just wigs or masks leatherface was wearing it was the skinned faces & hair of his victims.

Brother J, I am right there with you, I absolutely used to love to go to those small out of the way places that made the best food. I think the reason they are so good is they put more love into the food instead of the decor. :)

Echo Moon

Hey J, Blank is the one that picked one, he is the sick bastard not us!!!

Big Frank

I've seen this movie so many times but each and every time I always can't wait til Franklin gets killed because he is so whiney....Saaaalll-llllllyyyy The newer ones are much more graphic but you always got to start with the original.

Miss Gigglebox

This gives me an idea for a future pick. You might be ready for "The Devils Reject's" from Rob Zombie. It has a great soundtrack for sure. I already committed to Augusts film, but look out! It even has an old school wrestler acting in it!

Chris Baldwin

Me, my girlfriend at the time and another couple went to see this at the Route 56 Drive -In when it first came out. Nobody wanted to go to the concession stand for something to eat during the movie!! Nightmare fuel at age 16, for real.

Chris Baldwin

Well I now know never to pick you up if I see you walking on the side of the road lol.

Almost two hours of simple, utter confusion πŸ˜‚

Hyped for this!!

This one for me is like the Exorcist for J. Watched it once and never again. Nerve-wracking. Nowhere, nobody, and nothing is safe. It is true horror. That being said, i will watch it with J because I wanna hear his thoughts on it.

CordlessRevamp

Are you kidding me!!! I'm ordering pizza and a 2 liter coke for this one, WHAT A TREAT!!!

Big Frank

YESSSS!!!!! This (along with The Exorcist) is IMO the greatest horror film ever made. Can't wait to check this out with J.

Chris Gaitan

Poor J! Im sorry you had to watch this one. Im too sensitive to watch a lot of gore 😱
