On Earth they have eliminated Poverty for the most part.

"Taking to Twitter in 2016, Besson posted some concept art by Jean Paul Gaultier showing how Prince might have looked if he had appeared in the 1997 movie. Alongside the image, he wrote, “He was supposed to play Ruby in the 5th Element…but couldn’t find dates during his tour,” with further sketches of Prince’s planned costume being previously put on display in 2013 at the Brooklyn Museum’s Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit."

J, I love that you referenced Captain Planet cartoon, I watched that all the time when I was a youngster. Fifth Element is one of those rare films that has so much comedy packed into it but still keeps a lot of heart in it. J, if you want to see a future film where the future is squeaky clean and not all Detroit then you should watch Demolition Man (1993). The song you were dancing to at the end credits is called Little Light of Love by Eric Serra. You can find it on youtube. :) Hey Blank, we truly need a compilation vid of J dancing. :)

The clothes were made for Prince but when he backed out they were already made & Tucker was hesitant when he saw them. I am SO glad he accepted the role 💜💜💜
