How it's going...

TLDR:
I immensely appreciate all the support here on Patreon, you've all been phenomenal. Content will keep flowing consistently as far as captions and short stories, because it's been 1 month and the meds are still working great! Publishing shorts on Amazon again has helped increase my income to the point that I won't be losing money every month and can start saving again. I'm also pondering a new game to whittle away extra time on.
Extended explanation:
I know these numbers fluctuate a bit, but I just wanted to thank you all (even those of you who aren't currently subbed but still follow) for the support over the last year+. You've all helped me tremendously and I'm honestly not sure where I'd be or what I would have resorted to (job wise) to make ends meet without this support.
I'm finally able (with the help of ADHD meds) to keep focused on a constant stream of content for you all. I'm posting a Free/Exclusive caption every day (except my 1 off day which is usually Thurs/Fri). That would've been impossible to keep up prior to these meds. It's been about 1 month since I went on them, and I can only hope that you'll all agree, that I've been more consistent with new content for all of you.
I've even been able to resume writing short stories. I'm sure some of you aren't that interested in them, and that's ok! The important thing about writing short stories again, is that my monthly income has increased to a point that I can (once Amazon starts paying me in a couple months) move off of food stamps and actually watch my bank account go up for a change. (The money we got as stimulus in the US—because of the pandemic, is the money I've been slowly burning each month at a rate of $50-100 a month, since my Patreon and a few other minor sources of income that barely amount to $50 a month, don't quite cover my monthly expenses.
So, with all of your support here and my new income from writing short stories again, I should fiiiiiinally be able to start saving money again and also decide on where to invest some of it in the form of content creation. (If I want to ever put a game on Steam, that's $100 fee.) (If I ever want to purchase more stock photos or digital assets so I can ACTUALLY use them in a commercial game release, those cost money.) Things like that. I'm not sure where things will really end up in that regard, but that avenue is more accessible to me now than it was before.
So we've got Captions rolling in at the best rate since forever. (I was writing more captions when I first started the Patreon, but they were shorter wordcount.) We've got new short stories coming to the $15 tier on a weekly basis. Full disclosure on that, I'm going to be putting the occasional story in Amazon's Kindle Unlimited program, which means it has to be exclusive to them for 90 days, and if I want to bundle it with other stories and create a bundle that I release there, it'll also have a 90 day countdown for all the content that makes it up. This is to help me get some visibility at times, but unlike (a lot) of other authors who write erotica, I see more value in 'not going all in' with Amazon. This means I can take the majority of my stories elsewhere, like here and to other retailers (even though I only make about 10-20% compared to what I do with Amazon.) Generally, my short stories go for about 2.99 (which is the industry standard for this biz.) So I'll endeavor to make the $15 tier a worthwhile price point if you like to read my stuff and want to save money! I don't really like the numbers I'm seeing with Kindle Unlimited at the moment, as I put 4-5 stories into it the other week as a test. I feel like once I bundle my stories into 5 stories in a bundle, that it could change some...but I'm pretty good keeping my stuff out of that program for the most part.
Ok finally I'm talking about GAMES again. I was supposed to talk about them in the last paragraph and got sidetracked. XD
So games. I didn't get the strongest feeling with the Reality Swap game. It was sort of a test to see if I enjoyed making the game in 'that' style, with photos from the internet. Realistically, I'd prefer to 'own' all the content I put into a game, but I know some of you have played games out there where the developer didn't care too much about that aspect and nobody was really coming after them, based on how the game was released. Reality Swap is also one of those projects that are hard for me to return to, because I have to figure out 'how everything was connecting' again, and I find it pretty difficult to find 'just the right images' to convey things. If you have a single image, it's easy to write caption for it. If you have a series of related images or whatever, you can probably string a longer story together, but I was frying my brain trying to look for what I wanted and what I wanted to convey, so I'm not sure I'll continue with that game at this time, for those various reasons.
So, the current idea rolling around in my head, is a fantasy-world game with Magic, Monsters (Goblins, Orcs, Centaurs, Mind Flayers), Gender Swap, Futas, and alternating characters that have their own story arcs. 'How' the character alternates from one to another, is still very-much up in the air. My loose idea is that all of these characters you play 'as' will have shared stats and their own stories that may or may not interact with each other. I'm not sure on any of that yet. I want the player to increase their stats/abilities (like picking up new spells, etc) the more they play and explore. It'll be pretty Text-Driven for all the sex scenes and everything and I want to include some amount of choice that allows you to try one thing or another or completely ignore a route. Like, if you have to fuck a goblin to get a medallion, I also want you to have the ability to NOT do that and instead fight a goblin to steal the medallion. I figure I'll stick closer to home and make it a more RPG Maker MV style game, where you're moving around in the standard style. The artwork will be PRETTY MINIMAL. Like, think 'simple sprites' that I whip up quickly in order to convey what something is. I'd like to make sure I'm 100% interested in long-term content creation for a game (or if I finish it as more of a shorter experience that ends) if I'm going to put money into the art.
So yep. That's everything floating around in my head right now. Thanks for reading!
