I would—and DID—absolutely change my endometriosis! Hysterectomy this last summer and wouldn’t take it back for anything. But take away traits that make up who I am as a person? No way. That’s just information that’s tells us how best to navigate this world.

I'm here because of quality put too bluntly, skipping a review of excellences, but I wander among the public videos of major name autism influencers. Presenting complicates of course. As Paige said, a video could be twice as long including her hair chewing, but I don't know of any I dislike for their "annoyingly strong autismness", so I imagine presenters can allow themselves to stress less and really just be before their divergent following to the extent the demands of the presentation allow.

This was such a nice pallet cleanser after Abby’s Mom - she is insufferable.
I really liked seeing such a judgement-free environment and people expressing their thoughts and feelings openly.

Your question about “would i rather not have endometriosis?” was such a great example. Would I rather not be autistic? Would i rather not be trans? No, both of those things make me who I am. Would I rather not have cystic acne? Hell yes! 😂

Yess, I've seen that! I thought about putting doing the Unmasking Course as a poll option for a future Patreon video - maybe I'll do that! Glad to hear it's been helpful 😊

I like the idea of a Vlog format and/or documenting an Unmasking Journey - also Paige Layle has an unmasking course, which Im currently doing, its pretty helpful so far! :)

A lovely group of people. I couldn't help thinking about where they may be now.

Moving requires so much executive function, uncertainty, and if home repairs are necessary first can be a sensory nightmare nightmare. I am glad that you took the time to take the step back to deal with it instead of pressuring yourself to do deal with all of it and be as active here.

Dang, Joe sounds fanatic, I’d love to meet them. I have kind of embraced being awkward and funny so my masking is a bit more myself than before, but I am still masking pretty much all the time. I have a couple people I have times of no masking with, but it’s like as soon as I “realize” I am not masking I get self conscious and kind of freeze. I still feel a huge sense of relief being alone because I don’t have to “be anything” for anyone. I’m definitely someone who needs a lot of recharge time.

It's funny that you were talking about socializing being confusing and not knowing when you reach out to people and there not being rules. I was just talking to chatgpt about this today. It literally advised creating rules for yourself and asking the other person what they prefer so that you have a set idea for when and how to communicate and less stress around it.
