The school stories are still interesting and also loving the tangents πŸ˜€ Working memory also applies to accessing long term memories (not just short term) . Didn't realise this until a PHD clinical psychologist told me.

Music therapy! In Australia the government just randomly without evidence massively downgraded music therapist's pay rates and the governing body to review this decision doesn't even exist yet 😡 Our government has been so impulsive and radical of late, I just don't understand the logic of it at all from any angle. Like in the past it would take years for them to action anything after approval and now its without warning surprising everyone with sudden changes that only have like a couple of weeks to be written. It's a bit mental for us on disability funding at the moment. Considering autistics are the majority on it you would think they would care about making the transition and change as calm and as gentle as possible... Nope. You would think we are in the middle of a war, but no, it's just disabled people (ie the most vulnerable people in society) that we're traumatising 😳

Our Aldi in America started carrying Jaffa Cakes and they are wonderful. Definitely cake tho

I think I've heard something about that too! We need to get to the bottom of this πŸ˜…

I heard that the brushing your teeth activity is more looking to see if you pretend to brush your teeth with your hand or if you just talk about it. Apparently autistic people are more likely to just talk about it. No idea if this is true of course :D

I think it's very interesting to hear about your school experience, because it is so different from my own. I'm not sure how much of it is because I'm not from UK and just the school systems seems pretty different. I used to like school, because I knew what was expected of me, it was easy for me to learn things and the teachers liked me. I was a teacher's pet and kind of haven't got rid of the dynamic, where it's easiest to get along with older people who probably see me as someone nice, well-behaved and kind of helpless πŸ˜… I have never been very good with people my own age and I probably didn't notice, if I was bullied during school. There was always someone who befriended me, so I wasn't lonely, and I didn't care the general opinion. But it's kind of funny that I have no idea how to make friends or why I have lost the friends that I used to have. I don't care if Jaffa Cakes are cakes or biscuits, but they are disgusting πŸ™ˆ

Nope, it'd be a first

Do you have any prior jam-making experience? I've never done it!

I'm Autistic, Now What

Don't know how Lewis will feel about this, but I have a slight urge to make strawberry jam. Actually getting the motivation to do it is another question tho
