The Alltistic Podcast Episode 1 - How did Lewis & I Meet?

Lewis is back! We're telling the story of how we met in 2012 and eventually got our act together and became a couple in 2015. Get a cup of tea and enjoy the gossip with us! Hopefully this will provide you with a bit of context for future episodes.

Apologies for the fact that I speak a little more quietly than Lewis here. I was recovering from a cough and knew if I spoke too loudly, I'd go into a coughing fit ๐Ÿ˜… Hopefully I won't still be ill for the next one.

I had no idea the school system was like this in the UK this is so interesting and makes some of your stories make a lot more sense!

So many similarities! I was only focused on being top of the class. Then dropped out halfway through A levels. If I canโ€™t excel I give up

You didn't at all don't worry!! Your kidding around is fine ๐Ÿ˜

It was one of my cats, I think ๐Ÿ˜ฉ They were called Mo and Baby! The cage obviously wasn't very secure. I'll have to ask my mum! The shoe-eating dog was my in-laws - I think she just gave it a few bites ๐Ÿ˜… Two black bins - I'd be so confused ๐Ÿ˜… It does seem like there's actually a lot to say about bins strangely!

I'm Autistic, Now What

I'll see what I can do! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Eeek ๐Ÿ˜ฌ I just suddenly got really really anxious that Iโ€™d offended you ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜“ I was only kidding, but Iโ€™ve been told several times that my โ€˜kidding aroundโ€™ can go a bit too far ๐Ÿ˜” Iโ€™m really sorry, I didnโ€™t mean to overstep the mark ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿฅบ (Not about the bins though, so colourful ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŒˆ)

Buddy

You have me really intrigued about your pets ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜ฌ Lucy had a name ๐Ÿน but you fed him to a cat who has remained nameless! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ผ Was it yours? Was it a neighbourโ€™s? A stray? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ One that you fed occasionally, and named because it was a food thief? ๐Ÿ˜… or were you feeding the cat live food๐Ÿ˜ฒ (to let it properly hunt for dinner, like people with reptile ๐ŸฆŽ ๐Ÿfeed them live insects ๐Ÿคค๐Ÿฆ—๐Ÿคข๐Ÿคข) and then thereโ€™s the shoe-eating dog ๐Ÿคช (and pretty much all the above questions apply ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…) And then thereโ€™s bins. I have 2 black ones, so I have to open one every time, so I know whether itโ€™s recycling, or general. (And yes, every time, cos what if someone sneaks into my garden and swaps them around ๐Ÿ˜ฑ Anyway, they come in a rainbow of colours ๐ŸŒˆ so the bin thing could be a valid topic too ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ˜…

I listened to this yesterday at work. A pretty wholesome story. I loved the twins part & i get that close vibe from you in videos together, it's great to see. Something that's not really an issue, but i had to have this at max volume to hear while i was driving along. It can be a little noisier experience than most, driving a truck. I could hear fine like this, but if the volume were to go any lower, for any reason, i would struggle & be sad. If you could make it a notch higher volume, giving us a bit of a safety net that would be awesome. But it's probably just my experience. I do listen to a lot of podcasts & it's pretty rare for me to need them at max volume tbh, so maybe i'm not saying this for own selfish needs? (not listened to the second one yet, if you have changed things already -sorry)

Amazing! Looking forward to it

The hasty rebranding ๐Ÿ˜‚ You're so funny!! Thank you - we're recording the next episode shortly ๐Ÿฅฐ

This is my first patreon, I'm so thankful for your content ๐Ÿ’œ

Plot twist if it turns out Lewis is actually autistic. Think of the PR scandal, the hasty rebranding (to The All Autistic Podcast ๐Ÿ˜‰) and the dismissive unapologetic letter to the fans ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฃ We'll love you both regardless of the outcome ๐Ÿฅฐ. It's always felt like Lewis was in all your videos Meg. This podcast is amazing and great. Thank you both.

Congrats on doing the work thing!! We're so happy you enjoyed it ๐Ÿ’› Lewis gets all pleased with himself when someone compliments the podcast ๐Ÿ˜…

I'm Autistic, Now What

This was just so lovely to listen to โค๏ธ Like I told Lewis on Discord this podcast was the reason I wanted to join this community because the video with you two was so interesting & your energy together is so cute & fun ๐Ÿ˜ I just started my day by listening to the the second half of this podcast & I feel so happy, calm & grounded now ๐Ÿ™ (Which is perfect because I'll do a work thing waaaay outside of my comfort zone in an hour ๐Ÿฅต). Looking forward to the next episode ๐Ÿฅฐ

Aww, that's lovely!! I'm so glad you have that dynamic with your husband - it's the best ๐Ÿ’›

I'm Autistic, Now What

You both are so cute together- I think starting as friends first is such a great way to go! My husband and I are the same- we talked so easily when we first met, and we still can just talk and talk and itโ€™s so enjoyable. I look forward to more podcasts, and wish you the best in the future!

In Canada we have also have Forms, in middle school which is Grades 6 (11+12 yrs old) through Grade 8 (13+14 yrs old). Some high schools (Grades 9 - 14+15 to Grade 12 -13 in Ontario) use Divisions if not Forms. That said, as a student goes up in Grades the courses themselves tend to build on prerequisites more so than age or level. We don't have Freshman, Sopranos, Juniors and Seniors - I only know those terms from USA schools, and they don't make any sense of all. As 1 61 year old female Aspie, Most of my
