Patreon Guideline Updates

Yesterday, Patreon updated their community guidelines for creators, specifically for creators who make 18+ content and while the updates don't really affect us all too much, some changes will need to be made so we don't end up eating a ban hammer.
Patreon no longer allows for sexual content where consent is ambiguous. This includes pieces of work where the activities in question were planned and discussed beforehand. This also includes pieces of work that fall under the dub-con category.
As you all know, I enjoy writing in the dark romance genre and a couple of the audios on this page do fall under that category. By the end of today, I will have to remove them because again, I have no desire to eat a ban hammer. I also have other audios that I originally wanted to make that also fell under that category, but am unable to do so now, with these new changes. I'm still coming up with a solution for this entire situation, so if you have any ideas, please feel free to suggest them.
I understand where Patreon is coming from with these changes, especially when it comes to creators who make in person content, but it's a little annoying to have to deal with these changes when it's very obvious that everything we're doing here is artistic in nature and obviously completely above board in the consent department.
It is what it is and we'll get through this together.

This is one of many, many things lazy ass suits don't care to bother to define at all because they have no interest in it (Lune is alone in a room acting stories by herself, nothing is more imaginary than that) but what can you do I guess. Just want to say that I really liked the dark romance stories, especially the spicy ones since that is a nice extra twist of seasoning, so thanks for putting them up while you could Lune. Take care.

2024-03-16 03:09:33 +0000 UTCSubscribeStar.adult I've seen quite a few creators go this route to my knowledge that have done well so far and since patreon is forgetting it's place then if they need to get the Tumblr treatment so be it it's not personal it's just business.

2024-03-13 16:18:54 +0000 UTCI know some other creators will post some things on sites like airtable (though I think that's designed for downloading files) as that's password protected, so they can keep their work protected and only for patreon subscribers. Or I know some upload some exclusives to Google drive and turn off the download option. That I'm aware of they do this with content that's within TOS, but I'm assuming sharing a drive link that only has it whitelisted who it goes to via emails. Is fine, even if that audio may have a line or two that is outside the TOS
