2025-12-20 05:04:20 +0000 UTCYeah, Ned only confessed to save his daughters and he was not meant to be killed, but Joffrey is too stupid and bloodthirsty. There are still other good characters to support! Sometime you may like to watch Sharpe (1993) starring Sean Bean, when he is at his most dashing - there are about 20 episodes, each ~100 minutes long.

2025-12-18 20:13:05 +0000 UTCProbably the most emotional reaction to Neds death that I've seen. Bravo for sharing your raw feelings with us

2025-12-18 09:47:00 +0000 UTCDid your final reaction get cut off? "I knew she was gonna show her boobs", lol. V, the professional predictor of the boob reveal, lol. Shae is a real adult film star in Europe, btw. It's great that they can get more and more work these days that aren't just pron. Idk who you listen to and I'm not exactly saying to not listen to them but realize that people protect others from their own feelings for many reasons, including the reason that they themselves don't want to nurture your stress while you go through something they feel is unnecessary. But in my experience, we all need to leave our comfort zones for growth. We need our feelings to get knocked down in the dirt so we understand life, humility, and the more difficult decisions very few of us will probably ever face. not only in ourselves but in others and realize how those people that will have more difficult lives than ourselves need our support and understanding more than our judgement. Growth happens by walking out your door and following a path but also by straying from that path as well. Regardless of others' approvals or opinions. These days, when people warn me of something, that only boasts my intrigue but I also don't ignore their warnings completely. You handled starting this show very well. Careful but with curiosity. And it has paid off, hasn't it ;) I told you not to judge a eunuch based on the bias of others, lol. Varys will surprise you, often. Here is Walder Frey, same actor that played Filtch in Harry Potter and the guy with all the guns in Hot Fuzz, lol. Professional belly squirter, lol. Sometimes the only deal that can be struck is marrying off your kids. It also is meant to show that there is peace between nations because most people wouldn't dare go to war if your enemy has your child. It gave security between borders for a time. The man that grabbed Arya was the guy that came to King's Landing looking for more soldiers for the Wall and warned Ned about Cat taking Tyrion before the news spread. So at least someone loyal to the Starks found her. Yup, there is a Targaryen at the Wall, and so is Jorah's, the man with Khalessi, father as commander of the Night's Watch. That sword, Longclaw, is Valyrian Steel. The dagger that almost killed Bran is also Valyrian Steel. The reason they keep bringing it up is because it is an unbelievably rare metal crafted by Valyrians, who no longer exist if you remember. Valyria is where the Dragon Riders came from centuries ago. Lastly, here is where we start to see some real magic in this fantasy world; blood magic. Here is where we can only depend on the things characters say in order to understand how the magics of this world work and are used. Dead things not quite dead in the North, and forbidden magics that can possibly heal the terminally ill...we'll see ๐

2025-12-18 03:26:08 +0000 UTCYeah...I'm sorry you had to see that. It's a shitty outcome for Ned. However, the Starks now have Jaime aka The Kingslayer Lannister as their prisoner. I think in that scene, that Littlefinger standing alongside "King" Joffrey, both of them looking all smug, is just about as bad as Joffrey standing there in the first place. But there is still more to come. Hoping to see you in the season finale, and beyond.

2025-12-18 01:57:19 +0000 UTCYeah this episode hit me hard it was several weeks before I was ok to watch the season finale I was so pissed but what I will say Vicky ( baring in mind I'm writing this before I've seen your reaction) is that as soon as I finished episode 10 I needed more and started reading the books and yes I was still fuming about Ned but the story is so great I had to continue watching and I think you're feeling the same way

2025-12-18 00:46:10 +0000 UTCThis show doesn't want to break you, V. It wants to strengthen you. Strengthen your morals and convictions by showing you the inevitably and unpredictability when people try to control humanity and resist change. Sean Bean is well-known for playing characters that die. He loves playing characters that inspire the growth and character development of the others. You have yet to witness the greatness from the seeds he planted in others.
