Hope you’re having a wonderful, relaxing weekend so far - and as promised (and chosen😆) here is the animated film poll winner! I KNEW to always trust your judgement LOL cause this was such a good movie. It thoroughly impressed me and was such a treat to watch. It definitely felt like it was a film that wanted to teach adults lessons, but also fun, heartwarming and beautiful enough for kids to enjoy just as much. 🤍 thank you for yet another great choice, can’t wait to drop my next poll very soon and see what you all will choose next. ❤️☺️ much love and appreciation, I hope you enjoy this film as much as I did❤️

I'm just gonna get this out of the way and say that your hair looks so good! Now to the movie, it's crazy how great the animation still holds up 23 years later. This film touches so much on growing in life, Marlin and Nemo both learned things.

There is a really amazing story about Crush's voice actor at Disneyland (not this original voice actor). The actor has a twitch stream and one day a tiktoker, Kind Pengu, found his stream and chatted with him. Noticed he had only 100 viewers and found out that he lost his favorite job playing Crush during the live 'turtle talks' at Disneyland because of his major health issues. Kind Pengu joined his stream and asked him to sing him happy birthday as Crush, which he did without any ask for donation just because he loved doing Crush, then Kind donated 450 bucks to him and made a tiktok about the experience. The guy is now above 350K subscribers. :) Finding Dory is very lovely too. Dory reminds me of my friend that I'm a caregiver for. She doesn't have memory loss but severe ADHD and schizo-effective. The scene where Nemo finds Dory after Marlin abandoned her always gets me. Understanding that confusion, that fear of being lost and desperate for any help. In the earlier years of my friendship with her, when she was having her episodes, I always reminded her that I was her anchor to reality. That line from Dory how being around Marlin was improving her memory and then he just leaves, kills me.
