So far I'm hooked in, ITS TOUGH - but I like the character, setting and story building and beautiful scenery. It feels very high quality with some intense subject matter so WE'LL SEE HOW IT GOES

Especially the first season. But I could tell it was a good show. Good production quality storyline & actors. But I didn’t understand its brilliance til honestly the 2nd n 3rd time I watched it. There’s too much to follow along and keep up with and honestly in hindsight it’s actually way better. Almost a masterpiece. Not to glaze too hard but watching the show while understanding all the world building elements and storyline it’s pretty good LOL

Needless to say, she didn't post it. None of the content bothers me, but u might not like it. It gets rougher as it continues. I'm not a fan of fantasy movies, with a few exceptions. This show may be a hard pass after the 2nd show because this isn't exactly the most exciting show. I'm shocked this got 8 seasons and Sopranos got only 6. Talk to u later.

After season 1, if you dont like it, then move on. first season is all world building and setting the stage for crazy things to come but you need to watxh the whole first season to see just what's in store. I have been anticipating this show for a long time. This show is about the journey, the emotion and getting love and hate for almost everyone and everything. This is a realistic gory and non black and white take on Lord of The Rings. As in, no character is morally evil or morally good. Its all grey and its a long amazing ride. Lots of talking in this show, so its best to listen to it all and just enjoy the ride!

2025-10-30 19:26:10 +0000 UTCThanks for trying it! There are only a handful of gory moments throughout the total 73 episodes and they only stay on screen for a second or two. And not any worse than stuff you have seen in Breaking Bad / The Boys / Kill Bill / Evil Dead etc. Some plot points / scenes can be intense - but there are also heartwarming moments and joyous payoffs. The ending is ok, just not as it could have been - because the last season it was very rushed. It still has some epic scenes though! A clarification - it's not set on Earth in medieval times - it's an alternate world, that apparently has some bizarre celestial orbits so that the seasons are extremely unpredictable with summer/winter sometimes lasting for many, many years.

Eddard (Ned) Stark removed an antler from the direwolf which was just a few feet from the dead stag, which was probably killed by the direwolf, most likely to get food for her pups. The stag and direwolf killed each other. The guts of an animal are called Offal, pronounced like 'awful' but with more "O" sound on the first syllable, lol. Tyrion doesn't love "all bad things" lol. He is over-indulgent of some vices, lol, but we haven't enough evidence of him loving "all bad things" yet, lol. The dog breed for the direwolf pups is Northern Inuit; sled dogs, close to Huskies (my personal favorite breed).
