🖤🦇Horror Foundations & Gothic Classic film Poll🦇🖤

HIII 🖤 I hope you're having a WONDERFUL October so far~✨

Here we are onto our THIRD film for the spooky season - which you guys are choosing!! 🥰

So far you've absolutely killed it with last poll winner - The Cabin in the Woods. That movie FLOORED ME, I loved every aspect of it and had a blast watching it (sorry it I was a bit chatty hehe I was having so much fun ❤️)

ANYWAAYYY~

Here we have our Foundational Horror and Classic Gothic film poll!! These are films I've come to understand are movies that have paved the way for Horror as a genre and deemed classics. 🥰 Therefore, I can't wait to jump in!!

The next poll will be Monsters, Apocalyptic & Horror-comedy - so hit me with your suggestions for movies that FIT THAT BILL 😊

Thank you guys so much for having fun with me, to say I'm having a great time is an understatement. 🤍 I'm sure you could tell LOL

One last question! How do you like the polls broken up into sub-genres? I feel it's more organized and gives more films we usually wouldn't get as a winner, a fighting chance. I'd love to hear your thoughts on that - or preferences of course ☺️💕 Can't wait to hear everything you guys have to say!! Love you all!!! 🩷🌸🌹 (this is me giving u flowers)

Me watching Nightmare on Elm Street pull ahead in the poll gotta be the same feeling as degenerate gamblers watching the horse they bet on take the lead at the Kentucky Derby

Horror-comedy, you say? Could this be the long-awaited year a reactor finally watches “The Ghost & Mr. Chicken”? (But we’ll still settle for “Abominable Dr. Phibes” and “Theatre of Blood” finally getting a little more exposure on the Reactor-verse.)

Even John Carpenter (who didn’t direct it) was embarrassed by Halloween II. Just a standard slasher flick relocated to a hospital, and some franchise closure for Dr. Loomis, which was quickly retconned when the fake Weinstein producers bought the franchise and pretended Carpenter hadn’t finished it off. Now, Halloween III, OTOH, there was the product of a skilled Carpenter. 🎃 And anyone who was ever a teenage girl needs to react to Carrie. You know why better than we boys do.
