I felt like the way they tied up all of the loose ends and still kept you guessing by the end felt reminiscent of the first season - and I really enjoyed it. As sad as it was, the way it ended was true to the storyline and how it should have ended.
It's been a several year long journey, and I'm so happy I got to experience it with you. Love you guys, thank you for absolutely everything.ππ₯° I could not do this without you guys - the sheer amount of love and support is amazing. I'm so grateful. β€οΈ I can't thank you enough. (ending shows always makes me sentimental sorry LOL)
But as one show ends, a new one begins!! Can't wait to continue dropping Wednesday, Cobra Kai AND our newest show on the roster. π₯° I will be finishing Wednesday and THEN our new show will be joining the Patreon!! (I do this because if I post 1 episode of each show a week, we then extend Wednesday for longer than needed, therefore that ends up making me post our other shows less/a week as well! Just a way to speed up the shows dropping β€οΈ so it's a win-win!)

That last scene with Cate Blanche was lucky. She had been trying to play that game over and over but couldn't get the thing to flip. The director came over to her and gave her a few tips. Once they started rolling, she hit it perfect on the first try and that smug look wasn't planned, lol. The director said this was the end of this story but implied he wasn't done with the universe, btw. Gi-hun's expressions during the ending was choice made by the actor. He said he wanted to portray how Gi-hun has realized that he is no longer without sin when he killed the traitor. And how, he accepted that the game had won in turning him into a killer. Accepting that he can die if it means the innocent baby will live. As for the man in the mask, his character arc is that he has changed since, as a previous winner himself, he believed that this game is what humanity ultimately is, but Gi-hun showed him that it isn't. So much of the man in the mask's motives was to prove Gi-hun wrong but also trying to see if Gi-hun could show him that he was wrong. In the end, it sort of assumes that Gi-hun did change his heart by teaching him the point of sacrifice and the point of hanging on to a better ideal of humanity even though he is surrounded by the worst of it.
