I swear all of these movies are great and I feel like I can't even choose between them in terms of quality, the character development and continuing story-line is so wonderful to see and really warms my heart. :') I cannot wait for the fourth one hehe 💖 I hope you guys enjoy and have a wonderful Tuesday! 💗🥊🔔

Pro wrestling knows the value of creating a villain and a hero for the sake of the entertainment of the sport. And every wrestling move is designed to do as little damage as possible but look severe. Now, that doesn't mean they don't get hurt; they absolutely do (and there have been a lot of health insurance issues surrounding that unfortunate truth) but its an agreement that the athletes have to put on a show. Rocky 3 is about showing the BTS of fame, celebrity, and championship; and how soft, jealous, and egotistical it can make you without realizing it. About how it can get the best of anyone and everyone. Imposter syndrome gets inside the head of everyone. Creates doubt and fear about the pedestal you stand on. The pedestal starts to feel very wobbly. Only after you fall do you realize how safe feeling grounded feels. Then comes the idea that the ground is a comfort zone. Then the choice, get back up on that horse, or stay on the ground. 'Bum' and 'chump' were common slurs of the past that were seen as more polite (christian values appropriate for the censors/ratings, lol) insults. Each Rocky film is an escalation or a unknown hurdle that comes out of the previous film. You can see a comparison in popular anime shows; Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, and Demon Slayer. Each season or new arc brings on a bigger baddie and/or the woes of being 'king of the mountain' along with more training and character growth. If you don't write your protagonist as the most amazing person ever to exist in the first film, then you have room to expand the story. Rocky 4 addresses the 'world champ' issue where he isn't really the world champ, he's just the american champ since he hasn't faced any foreign fighters yet (america has a habit of calling our own champions 'world champs' without ever competing against other countries, lol). That menacing russian man in Rocky 4 is Dolph Lundgren, swedish american actor, a certifiable genius with a bachelor's and masters in chemical engineering; and was studying at MIT before dropping out for a career in acting. Did you pick up on how the punches have these enhanced sound effects? To help you feel the power of the hits? It pulls you in.

There are two different versions of that movie on bluray, so if you could tell us the runtime before the movie gets going on that one. I believe the difference is just that one has more footage of the previous movies at the beginning. So people with the wrong copy could still watch-a-long by starting it at a certain point.
