2024-12-27 16:33:34 +0000 UTCWild that 9/11 was your first day of kindergarten, for me it was like my 2nd day of senior year highschool. For me HA 1 and HA 2 are like Chocolate and Vanilla. Both good on different occasions. Home Alone 3 does have Scarlet Johansson, so it may be worth watching just for her to you.

I’m usually not one to say don’t watch further or skip movies in a series, but the 3rd and 4th aren’t as good. I believe the fifth is actually a series on Disney+, but I haven’t seen it yet so I really can’t speak to that. The third movie is alright, even with a new kid, my main gripe is that the comedy seems a bit forced comparatively. The 4th one was made for tv and is hands down the worst.

2024-12-27 06:20:51 +0000 UTCBeen waiting for you to watch this movie (Home Alone 2), since last year when you watched the first Home Alone, and I’m definitely here for it, but everything after Home Alone 2 is where the rest of the franchise gets progressively worse and are unwatchable, and it’s also where there’s no more Macaulay Culkin, nor any of the cast from the first two movies (1 & 2), nor Chris Columbus as the director, nor John Williams as the music composer, so don’t bother watching the rest after this movie

2024-12-26 15:19:27 +0000 UTCIt's been nearly 4 months of instability. Polls are gone. She's breaking commitments and deadlines. She prioritized free sites over paid subscriptions. I have been one of the most understanding by being a patron for nearly 4 yrs and being honest rather than whispering sweet nothings and empty validation. And garbage films are still garbage films no matter how positive she tries to spin it. I'm putting things into perspective because I know a depressive episode when I see one. She's taken away our votes, she's posting comfort-food choices, she told us to post comments and she'll read them in the next episode but never did, she's breaking her word because she's overwhelmed and burnt-out, she's slapping on a happy face or hiding from commenters more and more rather than being genuine and true about how she's feelling, which I truly hope she is seeing or talking to someone about that and not bottling it up, and she's jeopardizing this income stream because of it. I've been a depressive grumpy old man since I was 9. I know better than anyone the struggle. I also know that airing grievances is how you keep the depression from swallowing you whole and wallowing in comfort-food. She needs to hear from long time patrons that she's slipping too far and pushing the limits of taking this income for granted. The solution is back to basics and not keep making promises. Actions not words. Its time to get real with her and for her to get real with herself. She's a born and bred New Yorker! Time to get real, Queens! Lol
