A Christmas Story | Full Length Reaction!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS FRIENDS ⛄❄️🎄🧣 and to help us continue getting into the holiday spirit - here is a full length reaction to a universally esteemed, classic Christmas film!! 🥰😚✨⛄ I didn't think this movie would make me feel as much nostalgia and emotion as it did, and I'm really happy it did. I hope you guys enjoy as much as I did!! 🥰

People are recommending you the sequel but something to stick in your pocket for later: the same director that made A CHRISTMAS STORY also made the original BLACK CHRISTMAS, a prototype for the slasher genre set in a sorority house at Christmas.

Vicky, i loved watching this with you. i made a new memory with u watching this . My mother-in -law had this on all day on Christmas day. I came to strongly dislike this movie. She and i never got along, so i'd go in our room in the back while my ex was up front, so now i have this positive memory now.My favorite Christmas memories involve putting up the Christmas tree. I'd love to spend Xmas in New York one day. It looks magical. I know ur behind in ur videos, but i'd love to watch a video where u tell us about ur Christmas memories and traditions and ur favorite Xmas things to do. Just put it up, mistakes and all . No editing . I'll understand if u can't . Have a Merry Christmas. Btw,u said u had some rough times this year, so i hope u have a better 2025 . Remember, ur special and u deserve to be happy.

I highly recommend the sequel from 2022, they bring most of the original actors back and it makes you look at this film with much more appreciation! Just enough nostalgia and love put into it to consider it a classic, but ofcourse you can never beat this one. I was so surprised to see you drop this today, but nevertheless a welcomed one! :)

Loving the bangs, btw. A Christmas Story is like watching a living snow globe. Its not picture perfect like a lot of Hallmark/Lifetime Christmas films; its more realistic. And its from the perspective of Ralphie, told by his adult self. As of 2022, there is now a sequel starring the same actor that played Ralphie, Peter Billingsley, who also wrote and produced it; called A Christmas Story Christmas. The depiction was on the 1940's with no specification of the exact year. Before 1946, a lot of resources were going to the war effort, so seeing boiling cabbage and porridge (gruel) was pretty expected. And Ralphie's parents were most likely kids during the great depression or maybe even teens. Although electricity in homes wasn't new, most people didn't live with so many things that needed electricity so the overloaded outlet was a norm as tech progressed but home wiring hadn't caught up yet. Plus homes were designed on traditional expectations of what certain rooms were for. "Bedrooms don't need outlets if they have a light switch, after all. What could you possibly need to plug in while in the bedroom? That's for sleeping." lol, so the living room outlet was probably only one of a few outlets in the whole house. If you're going to do another Christmas movie, I would 1000% recommend Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas. You haven't done many classic puppetry films and this is a great one for Christmas. You should also keep Dark Crystal on the lists for amazing puppetry films, too, btw.

Vee, are you gonna address the elephant in the room re BCS?

Family man such a underrated Christmas movie

Rey

I would add Violent Night 2022 (despite the name it is more of an R-rated action comedy)

Tall Geeky & Cool

For a raunchy xmas comedy, I'd recommend Bad Santa.

Mario Serra

This Movie is great. I think its more geared towards guys. But its is enjoyed by almost everyone.
