I watched the last couple seasons of your BCS reactions this week. Every time you would gush about Howard I was just like, "Oh, I'm so sorry, babe. This is gonna hurt."

In the other flashback scene with her not going into her mum's car because she was drinking, showed one side of her personality; that to be fiercely independent, she'll make her own decisions (which she is also doing here). It showed too that she knows right from wrong, and we have seen throughout the show, her own version of justice being served on those who cross her. This flashback shows however, that when she did steal to garner her mother's affection, she was rewarded, even though she knows its questionable. This was her environment, and she clearly had that side to her all along, and this is what she gets from this now; feeling closer to Saul by scamming people, and this big operation against Howard, which she is pushing, is whats driving her. Sure, she has something personal against Howard for him punishing her at times, due to Jimmy's actions, but she sees this as a chance to get the final one-up on him, to bring him down, whilst getting all that she wants professionally, and in her relationship. Note when she makes the decision to come back, she is wearing those exact earrings her mother gave her in that first scene. So good! Tragically, and I can say this knowing you've seen the next episode, Jimmy and Kim end up destroying - killing - the ones that gave them a chance to start something. Chuck with putting Jimmy in the mailroom giving him a fresh start after Chicago, ends up dead because of him; and now Howard, whom without him, Kim probably wouldn't have been given the chance to become a lawyer, before he sponsored her - is now dead due to them putting him into this world.

I understand her reasons for stalling with BCS, but as a reaction channel, there should be some limits as to how much that is happening. Possibly this is a combination of both, since it seems to affect other shows besides BCS too.

Are you part of VKunia's team responding on her behalf, or just a good Samaritan answering a query because you know more about this stuff than I do? Assuming the latter, V did say on many occasion how she hates finishing shows she loves, and that she did same stalling with Breaking Bad. (I wouldn't know for sure because she had already watched all of BB before I found her.) If that's the case, it would make sense that she's doing the same thing here. I just want to know, lol.

Then broke into her house to get a ruler that was a gifted to her after the funeral, could have been a hint as to story progression. More than moving to Oregon. Maybe you’re a little slow as well. 2024-12-19 21:44:53 +0000 UTCI have to keep reminding myself that all of what we are seeing is the past origin storyline. We are seeing the events before the Saul we met but also lead up to the true climax of this show in present day Omaha, NE. It gives some comfort when I remind myself of that, lol. This show really pulls you in with just the memory of Jimmy's past and you completely forget that present day Omaha is where this will end, lol. Something big is going to separate these two somehow. And I'm getting the feeling its Kim's built up repression. Repression of all her struggle to be good and do the right thing, the expected thing, but also the drive to do it impressively. She likes being seen as the underdog or underestimated, then doing something so 'out-of-the-box' extraordinary that its stuns people with impressiveness. But she has kept a tight lid on herself for a long time. I think Kim is going to explode with vengeance, and she's going to like it, lol...or gets in over her head. She likes this kind of gamble. It could be just betrayal or (gawd forbid) her death, too, but whatever it is that happens, it separates her and Jimmy. And based on how Jimmy acts in present day Omaha, it scares him that his past might find him. And I get this little feeling in the back of my head that he might be scared that Kim finds him in the present. I'm getting a vibe that she's one of those that behaved for too long and Jimmy is her gateway drug, her enabler, but he doesn't know it yet. I think Kim still really likes helping people, don't get me wrong, but taking down people she had to take crap from I think is a high she never knew she wanted. We just saw it, i think. Kim doesn't want to give up on this con but Jimmy knows when to call it quits because of his experience. As for Howard, I think he needs his life to fall apart. Not because of anything he did but because of what he isn't doing. Howard is spending too much time putting on a happy face and swallowing his frustrations. I don't think Howard is gutsy enough to quit his marriage on his own but he does have the demeanor of someone that picks himself up and moves on when their life is in shambles. Howard will be better if he is given the chance to walk away from a broken life, and if whatever Kim and Jimmy are planning does break it, then they end up doing him a favor, i think, lol.

2024-12-19 20:35:36 +0000 UTCActually, Werner's guy was a minor character who last appeared in Season 5 Episode 1 so that was over a season ago, second it doesnt explicitly explain it was in Germany except for the text on the road sign that even I could barely make out before the first German dialog was thrown out and thirdly, V realised straight away she made a mistake when the German Dialog came. Literally anyone could have made that error.

That’s why she guessed Oregon instead of Germany. Then she didn’t recognize that the guy was one of Verner’s men. It just kills the whole reaction experience when they don’t know what they are watching.

Then I moved onto to binge your reactions to BCS, and then you seemed to quit on it. I know you did Arkane in the interim, which didn't interest me, and maybe other series' too, but I have to ask. Are you back to BCS fully? Otherwise, I'll quit my patreon-ing you for a spell, and come back when you've completed BCS. It's not a threat or anything, I promise, it's just how I prefer to watch things these days. Please let me know, I'll remain a fan either way, Btw, I have watched your reactions to tons of movies while waiting, but some are so old (the reactions, not necessarily the movies) that they're difficult to sync up anymore. Kim is one of my favorite characters of all time. She is so real and so complex at the same time, so human. We disagree on whether Howard is good or bad -- I think he's awful and you think he's wonderful, but still, no, he's a bad man in my opinion but not a villain, and he doesn't deserve what's coming. Still, I get Kim's hatred towards him because of how he treated her, and especially since what she and Jimmy have in store will make a lot of old people a lot of money before they die of old age. Lalo is hands down my favorite villain of all time. So cold, so ruthless, yet so smart, athletic, and charming. So gosh-darn charming. I don't recall ever seeing such a despicable villain so dashing and charming, which just makes him all the more terrifying. Ick! Love it. So original. On a completely different note, I just watched you watch Apollo 13. If you loved Apollo 13, which you did, and you loved Band of Brothers, which you did, you MUST watch From the Earth to the Moon. Still Tom Hanks producing for HBO. Imagine 10 episodes about the space program in the style of Band of Brothers. You'll love it. Let me/us know if you're back to BCS for good, and keep up the awesome work!
