and I’m so glad I finally watched it!!! ☺️ I’ve been wanting to for SO long and I’m so happy we’re able to finally get into Man of Steel!

Cute, Not sure if anyone has answered all your questions yet. Superman is only strong on earth, it is the earths sun that makes people from Krypton super powered so when they are on Kypton at the the start of the movie no one has super powers. Just had to answer gonna watch the rest of the reaction now, I bet EVERYONE on YT is gonna comment. Also I think he promised that neither he nor his wife would leave Krypton, but his Son was a loop hole.

2024-12-09 02:49:49 +0000 UTCyou asked for UFO thoughts. I saw one once as teen. I was with my family driving home one night. I was looking out the window & saw one of the lights moving around. My family said I was just seeing things but it was moving around unlike a plane or helicopter. I kept watching it & it started coming near us. at a fast speed As it got close it lowed it's altitude & slowed down to what appeared to be average plane speed as it went overhead us. The vehicle was triangular shaped with 6 lights on the bottom in a pyramid formation that allowed me to see the silhouette of it, so all I saw were the the shape & lights. It flew overhead, then once it passed us it sped up & climbed altitude significantly fast & disappeared as fast as it approached. I can't say one way or the other if it was man made or alien. But I have never seen a craft like it in real life or pictures at any other point in my life so whatever it was it was unidentified for sure.

2024-12-09 01:56:54 +0000 UTCdisagree. The quality didnt go down with snyder, it was consistent. You have Warner Brothers to blame for how they treated this franchise and its actors, not Zach Snyder. WB screwed up the entire theatrica version of Justice League so they called Snyder back to make it fit his vision. Im glad James Gunn took over but it wasnt the fault of Snyder why some of the films didnt do well. I think every film is great at least to the first Aquaman. The Snyder cut of justice league was PEAK VFX, acting and story telling for what it was. Hell even Marvel took inspiration from Justice League for how to write Thanos character.

2024-12-08 15:11:40 +0000 UTCYes! I loved this film for all the exact same reasons that you loved this version of Superman over the more lighthearted, cheesy version. Prior to seeing Snyder’s take on Superman, I wasn’t really that invested in him as a character. But Snyder’s films with him really made me love him. If you’re going to continue (and I highly recommend that you do, because you will absolutely love the rest of the trilogy if you loved this one), then make sure to watch the *director’s cut* of both Batman V Superman (the “Ultimate Edition”) and of Justice League (the “Snyder Cut”).

2024-12-08 04:32:20 +0000 UTCThe real tragedy is that they are no longer continuing the Zack Snyder's DCEU. Market-wise it was competing well with the MCU and they had a few movies bomb hard. This movie is canon, btw. This is the most canon you can get, lol. Although most re-tellings don't have Zod die, there are versions where he does. For a flipside to this story, check out Brightburn. I've heard a lot of people complain about Superman being too goody-two-shoes before and I never understood where they got that. I never saw him as that. I always understood Lex Luther's and Batman's perspective on Superman. There is a lot of potential danger with the classic idea of Superman. All that has to happen is that he has to have one really bad day and the comics even explore that potential outcome. I wasn't the biggest fan of Superman only because he is just so OP. Do you know the theory that Superman is an allegory of Christ? A literal god among humans, a savoir, with high morals, and a bible belt upbringing, lol.

Most the movies are not great and it got to the point that DC is doing an entire reset with a new superman and all. Might be better to just wait for new dc with james Gunn at the helm

Make sure that when you watch Batman Vs Superman that its the "Ultimate Edition" and for when you get to Justice League that its the "Snyder cut" Watching those version of the films is like the extended versions of lord of the rings. There are so many changes and re shoots for those versions it effectively a different movies. The better rated and accepted by the fans who love them. For example. The original theatrical version of justice league flopped so bad that Zach Snyder (who didnt direct the theatrical version due taking care of his family) came back on and reshot and added in scenes to fit his original vision of the film. Almost 50% of it was redone that Warner Brothers didnt allow or got cut out and it became as masterpiece of a superhero film. Please do continue with these films. The first 4 in release order being Man of Steel Batman Vs Superman (ultimate Edition) Wonder Woman Justice League (Snyder cut)
