This story was a wonderful continuation ANNNND incredibly charming. Just as good as the first one in my opinion and I cannot wait to continue onto the rest of the series. ❤️ (It was so difficult to just pick one thumbnail for this post because of the emotional rollercoaster this movie put me through LOL)

2024-12-05 15:32:06 +0000 UTCI was also greatly surprised with how good a dude Rocky is. I thought he was just a meathead boxer and I'd just watch him training for boxing and I was so wrong. In a way it was good, I fell in love with most film series before I was 25, so becoming a new fan of a decades long series in my 30s was a fun experience.

They mark where the frames start for those that look at the film reels without sound and the numbers on the board organize the cuts for each attempt. Sometimes the 3rd take was great but they did 5 takes for safety, kinda thing. The clapper on the board is for the audio edits since audio and film are recorded on separate devices. Spit buckets are for rinsing out the mouth. Its for the blood and saliva from getting knocked around but also the mouth guard. If you have something in your mouth, then you naturally salivate and you can't be spending the whole fight with a mouth full of spit or swallowing spit between punches, lol. You could choke on your spit, too; plus if you take a punch to the face, that spit explodes out which is exposing bodily fluids to open wounds on the face of the other fighter. It still happens but they use spit buckets to reduce it as much as they can. And swallowing too much blood can make you queasy and even throw up. Can't have vomit everywhere in the boxing ring, lol. Lastly, why they don't hydrate is because if you keep swallowing spit and blood and water, that means you have stuff in your stomach and punches to the stomach with stuff in it compromises your core strength, weakening your ability to go the distance. They do take small sips for hydration but the first swig of water is always spitted out for rinsing Chasing and catching chickens and greased up pigs was one way to train because some fighters were also farmers or kids of farmers so you use what you got but its not the only way to train. It trains your legs, knees, ankles, reflexes, and speed at shifting balance. Its training for dodging, footwork, and anticipating the movements of your opponent. The rules of a boxing match depend on the type of match but mostly all the rules and how they earn points are the same. The types of matches vary from weight class, exhibition, title matches, opening matches, and so on. You can have very specific rules added or removed but those must be agreed on before hand, and then approved on by the boxing commission. Rocky 2 is much better, imho. Rocky 3 and 4 are where things get intense, tho, lol.
