Singed, the scientist that invented shimmer, is the same guy with that axolotl looking animal that met Viktor in that cave when he was younger and also was helping Silco with the shimmer production and application in the first season. I love, love, love that flashback scene with Vander, Silco and Vi and Jinx's mom. Not only is it great seeing everyone together and happy, but it gives so much more context to Vander's love for the girls and also context to Silco's desire to raise Powder when he finds her at the end of episode 3 of season 1. He honestly thinks Vi is dead, Vander is basically dead in front of him, he now has to be the one to hold up his and Vander's promise to raise these "ankle biters." Of course, he teachers her to work for his cause, so it can be seen as bad, but he wholeheartedly believed his way would solve all the undercity's problems, so he was just bringing the remaining legacy of the past friend group with him to victory, in his mind. When Vander brings up the name Violet I cried. When I saw that Vi and Warwick/Vander were hugging I sobbed. When Vi said "what are you waiting for? He's your dad, too." it turned into audible sobbing 😭
