For shame not recognising Breaking Bad royalty in Wendy! And to a lesser extent, Spooge! Its all coming together though as Saul's "cathedral of justice" is now his, where he will sink further into the criminal world, and end up with Walt and Jesse. I like Kim's line about the office being "dirty"; its perfect for a bottom feeder like Saul Goodman. Speaking of Kim, note when she is speaking to Cliff, and he's interested in helping the less privileged get their lives back on track, this could be the start of something that could truly be beneficial to "the little guys", but she's not interested, its all just an act; showing she's in to ruin Howard for the kicks, and uses the pro bono stuff as an excuse and reason to justify this vendetta against him - and that it turns her on. Its sad this is what she is becoming, when she had the world at her feet, and could have achieved anything. Now her mighty intellectual acumen is teaming up with a crook like Saul Goodman, to pettily go after someone, instead of doing good with her talents. This pro bono stuff, isn't going to balance this "wickedness". Gus going into his basement with his yellow bag full of laundry, in dark silhouette, is reminiscent of Walt coming down the stairs with a yellow plastic bag, to suffocate Crazy 8 in Jesse's basement. And speaking of Walt, this is how he couldn't get anywhere near Gus's home, when he tried to kill him there; as Gus had this setup to cover it.

2024-12-02 04:26:38 +0000 UTCI don’t think Howard would have a problem with that, but as Kim said in an earlier episode, nothing needs to hold up in court. There just needs to be a reason for everything. No one is ever gonna go through the trouble of subpoenaing Howard’s therapy records to verify his story. He’d tell them he was in therapy and they’d just shrug and be like, “If you say so Howard.” They don’t really want to build a bulletproof case that people look into deeply. They want it to be speculative rumor. They want Howard to be judged on the “vibe” they’re creating around him.

2024-11-23 05:33:05 +0000 UTCIn regards to Mike's "You're made of sterner stuff" comment.. Jimmy is not made of "jelly" or a coward but he is not cold and calculated either. He is too reactive and impulsive. Last season Jimmy was so afraid of Lalo hurting Kim that he went to Mike’s doorstep and caused a scene. Kim is sterner in the sense that she can keep her cool on the face of danger, like when she talked to Kevin about him not listening to her advice or most notably when she faced Lalo in her apartment. However, she's never had a gun pointed at her face or witnessed ppl getting killed in front of her. Jimmy was ready to offer his cut of the money back to Lalo, Kim remembered she saw the coffee mug with a bullet hole inside the bag and simply jumped off her sit to diverge Lalo’s attention. Jimmy was so shaken that he totally forgot that the mug was there and would give up that he was caught in a firefight in the desert. We need to remember that in the show's timeline, the events of Bagman and Lalo’s visit was like just a couple days back and is still pretty fresh in Jimmy’s mind and his behavior still shows signs of PTSD. He is in no way ready to deal with Lalo again. Mike knows it. Kim is also scared of Lalo, the diff is she knows how to mask it.

2024-11-22 13:15:08 +0000 UTCDid you catch the two Breaking Bad cameos this episode? :D Wendy was the same prostitute that Jesse used in his alibi when they escaped from Tuco, and Spooge was the guy that got his head caved in by the ATM, and Jesse ended up saving his kid as the cops came.
