Back to the Future 3 | Full Length Reaction!

Comments

If you want more there is a semi-official sequel in the form of a point and click style adventure game. But other than that they apparently had it written into their contracts that the studio wasn't able to demand or pass off a sequel without express permission from the creators who initially didn't even want to do part 2.

Such a good trilogy of films and reactions V. But, now you HAVE to watch Clara (also known as A Billion Stars) - because of course, it's the perfect time to ask for it! It's a lower budget sci-fi with a lot of heart, and I think you'd love it.

Thanks for taking us with you on this amazing journey back to the future! Bold of me, but maybe you can consider on looking at the show "Dark" that was a Netflix hit 2017-2019, if you haven't seen it. It also explores the topic of time travel but from a different angle: what if your action in the past can't change anything. Show requires viewers to constantly connect the dots and has a perfect format to do commentaries on. But anyway, thanks for this classics!

"Yellow" is short for "yellowbelly", which is a synonym of "coward"; it's basically the 1885 equivalent of Marty being called a chicken. The band at the town festival are the three members of ZZ Top, and the song they play is an acoustic version of their song "Doubleback". The three old-timers at the saloon are played by three veteran Western character actors - Dub Taylor, Harry Carey, Jr., and Pat Buttram. Since, if I recall, you enjoyed "Zootopia", you might like the 1973 animated Disney version of "Robin Hood", in which Buttram voices the Sheriff of Nottingham.

If you want to see where Marty got his ideas watch the “Dollars Trilogy”. Even better if you just go back to the source material of “Yojimbo” a Akira Kurosawa film.

So, technically, the story isn't over. There is a cartoon that continues the story and focuses more on Jules and Verne. Kids of a time traveling scientist. What kind of adventures and trouble could they possibly get into? lol. All the other characters are there as well and many of the main actors voice their roles, too. During the hanging scene, Michael J. Fox did accidentally get hung for a brief moment. He black out for a little while, panicking everybody. The 3 old timers in the saloon are popular western movie stars that have played in hundreds of westerns in their life times. Their voices can be recognized over countless movies, tv, and radio shows. By the time the Delorean is hit by the train, it is made up of parts from each era it had been too. The 1985 chassie, the 2015 Mr Fusion and Flying Conversion, 1955 Vacuum Tubes and Transistors to replace the microchip, and the 1885 Train Wheels. Their are multiple possibilities why the word "yellow" became connected to cowardice. There is a phrase 'yellow-bellied sap sucker' which is also the name of a real bird with a yellow belly. Birds are skiddish and spooked easily. This is presumed to go hand in hand with calling someone 'chicken' since chickens are also easily frighten birds. There is the idea that it was a slur for a group of people born in a certain region in England in 1700's that also had a large number of yellow bellied eels. There is the idea that it could be biblically connected to the snake in the garden of eden. Snakes are sneaky and sneaky is often seen as cowardly and the bellies of snakes are often yellow. There is also the superstition that a lot of older cowboys had that yellow was a bad luck color. It was believed to bring misfortune. This superstition may have come after, however, since it would be consider wrong to hang around people that are cowards, thus spending time around yellow-bellies doesn't bold well for their future. Lastly, there is the possibility it is connected to the slur of calling asian people 'yellow' due to the hue of the skin. Nobody really knows, though, and they even aren't sure if it was commonly used outside of western movies. It was definitely used since it can be found in old writings but only very few of them; and its highly possible that it was only regional until it blew up in popularity because of so many western films using it.
