I didn't know what to expect going into this.. but it absolutely destroyed me. This movie hit so close to home in a way I believe everyone could relate to.. And I believe that's why people love it so much. It's a shared experience everyone goes through and the way they depict our emotions having emotions and growth themselves is such an amazing representation.
I LOVED Inside Out 2... and I hope you all do too. :') Let me know which part resonated the most with you please. 💖 Love you guys

2024-09-28 11:41:15 +0000 UTCI cried the first time. And I cried even more this time. I think Sadness is the lead emotion in my head, haha. By the way, movie recommendation for spooky season: Lisa Frankenstein It's the feature length directorial debut of Zelda Williams, daughter of Robin Williams. It's a lot of fun. You'd love it.

It's so great how they've effectively made another Inside Out movie about a different part of growing up and it still hits just as hard, but in a totally different way because those parts of your life can be so different. I deal with a lot of anxiety, so it was cool to see how relatable my anxiety can be to others, since it's common enough to be portrayed that way in the movie. One thing I noticed this time too was that Envy actually played a bigger part than you'd think in keeping Riley making bad decisions. At first glance it seems like mostly Anxiety, but Envy really makes some big plays. I haven't personally had an anxiety attack (maybe a small one, but either way), ive heard many people say that this movie expertly portrays it, with extra love to the shot to her grounding herself, as you pounted out. Experts were consulted about things like that to get those things right, just like in the last movie. I heard they even had teenage girls come in and have input on what a teen girl would do in situations like that and how it'd make them feel to make sure the movie felt genuine. The last few minutes of this movie always makes me cry so much I may have cried just as much as you 😭 For the non relevant part, you should just take one of your moving boxes and make a temporary version of the snack drawer and leave those tissues in them and you'll always have them in an emergency. That and snacks because I saw you snacking gotta have snacks 😁

2024-09-28 05:41:47 +0000 UTCI honestly feel like Inside Out 2 is a perfect movie from start to finish. I definitely deserves its title as highest grossing animated film of all time, and 8th biggest movie in history. It’s such an important movie that everyone should watch, because its story, and theme can resonate with just about anyone of any age. It’s prime Pixar their best movie IMO. The whole movie resonated with me, but the biggest ones are also the saddest parts. Anxiety attack scene was great in how it depicted an anxiety attack, and Axiety is my favorite character. Because she’s not a villain, and doing what she thinks is best to protect Riley. The second scene was when Joy said ‘maybe that’s what happens when you grow up, you feel less joy.’ In a way she is right, as when we grow up what constitutes as joy changes. The joy we experience as adults is on a different level than the the joy we experience as kids.

2024-09-27 22:05:01 +0000 UTCThe moment Riley’s conscious said: “I’m not good enough.” I felt that. Going through years from elementary to high school was extremely challenging for me due to my autism disorder. I tried to live up my friends expectations and walk into their shoes but I got hold back from my special teachers to help me be more self aware and mature. I get constantly isolated from other students for years until one day, the teachers gave us freedom to befriend most friendly and understanding students to learn and have fun activities together. Even since I started senior year at High School, I had over 200 friends all whom I had a great time hanging out and studying with. They alongside my family helped overcome my autism and finally acted like a responsible, matured and respectful man I grew up to be.
