Toy Story | Full Length Reaction!

Hiiii there!! (✿゚▽゚)ノ HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE

To celebrate the beginning of the week (hehe) SURPRISEEEEEE
I'M DROPPING TOY STORY 🤗🧸🤠👨‍🚀

it's a movie that EVERYONE knows about as well as the concept behind it because it's so unique and lets be real - it's a classic😇
I have never seen Toy Story and maybe just parts here and there but... sitting here, experiencing it fully for the first time - it was NOT at all what I was expecting. It's wholesome, it's cute and had a surprising amount of edge to it LOL (Sid terrifies me ok)

But not only that, but it surprised me by also being 3d animation!!!! I had never really thought about it before but in the 90s, 2d animation was the norm, so seeing it here REALLY took me aback!! And now that I look it up; TOY STORY WAS THE FIRST 3D ANIMATED FILM???

That's so cool and I was so impressed by the creativity, attention to detail and texturizing of the film - especially for it being the first fully 3d animated film! OK SO SRY FOR RANT I JUST WANTED TO GET THAT OUT THERE OK I LOVE U GUYS BYE I HOPE YOU ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE WITH ME 😇🤗💖

Toy Story? YAY! finally my childhood fav (: second and third one are exponentially better. 4th i watched it because Im a toy story sucker and will literally watch anything toy story, but its an enjoyable movie nonetheless! Yeah the facial animation is super new. they created all new rigging to animate facial expressions and everything. pretty ground breaking tech. practically pioneered it. The pizza planet truck is an easter egg in every Pixar film.

my childhood movie! honestly loved your reaction to this. the start of the 3D animation era and Pixar's VERY FIRST movie!!!! I hope your brother apologized for all the toys he broke and the "beheadings" sidenote: today is actually my birthday and finding out you're a '96 kid too really made my B-Day. best gift ever! lolol ^-^

Secondary comment, the people look so creepy because people are super hard to do in animation. They reuse some character designs for the kids (they all have Andy's face 😭) but they're still trying to get stuff like that right nowadays. That's why a lot of Pixar movies are photo realistic with backgrounds and stuff, but the characters tend to be cartoony and not realistic.

Weren't a lot of the enemies from the Toy Box (Toy Story world in KH3) the Unversed and not the Heartless? Pretty sure they were just because Vanitas was the main KH baddie popping up there and he was the source of the Unversed in Birth By Sleep. Gotta expect the KH comment from the guy with the Roxas profile picture 😂 Still love the part where Woody tells Young Xehanort that's he's probably never been loved before. Lost my shit the first time I played the game I was on the floor 💀 I can't believe you haven't seen these movies! But what else can we expect by this point 😂

Shout out to Steve Jobs and Joss Whedon for helping to make this movie. If I remember correctly halfway through production the film was accidentally deleted and had to be recovered from someone's home computer because the studio never backed up the movie.

The carpet in Sid's house has the same pattern as the hotel carpet in The Shining, all the other Toy Story films also have easter eggs from the Shining too

Matt

You seen the pizza planet truck before. It was in the movie Wall E as discarded scrap and woody is in Monsters Inc.

I’ve seen this movie more times then I can count throughout my life but this is the first time I have put it together that the gas station is Dinoco which is also the oil company in Cars that is a sponsor for the piston cup winner. The Dinoco blue!

Calbert

I mean Woody never meant to push Buzz out the window, just in the crack lol

I was working at a movie theater when this film came out. It was a big deal but after hearing the music over and over, all day, every day, lol, I got real tired of it. Haven't watched it since. Now, with the new tvs, it looks 30 years old, lol. I never saw the last one but from what I understand, its the ending of the story, which is probably why people say its sad.

But have a tissue ready

So happy your FINALLY watching Toy Story looking forward to your reaction and can't wait for you to continue 😊 thanks V

Matt

Your reactions to the sometimes dated animation were hilarious

Just to give you an idea about how old I am, I remember seeing this film in theaters when it first came out and it was probably the second movie I saw in theaters( the first being Lion King). It is such a great concept and good storytelling.

You will like Toy Story 2 even more!

I was eleven when my mom took me to the theater to see this one for my birthday. Under my older brother, I grew up with a kind of appreciation for computer stuff and I was so excited to see the first movie that was entirely CGI. It did not disappoint. I was enthralled with the attention to detail everywhere and it was a fantastic story to boot, wonderfully written and acted with people I was already a young fan of like Hanks, Allen, and Varney. I'm looking forward to this saga with you. 2 is good, and 3 was great, which I thought bow'd the trilogy nicely. I skipped on 4 though.

Skywhale

wow I am shocked you've never seen toy story but glad you haven't 😁. hope you watch all of them 😀

LadyFinger

This is gonna be fun, had no idea you have never seen Toy Story. It's one of those classic animations you assume everyone has seen (like when you watched Lion King for the first time). Really curious on other older cartoon classics you haven't seen. Kinda spit balling some of my favorites pre 1990s but things like Jungle Book, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, Oliver and Company, The Great Mouse detective.
