I also found out after I had watched this episode ****** EPISODE SPOILERS : that the song with Iroh had a double meaning for the VA who voiced Iroh.. He wrote the song himself and it has such a heartbreaking backstory. I don't want to say too much but if you're unfamiliar, look up the background on the song in Iroh's tale and his VA's story.. Just thinking about it brings a tear to my eye :'((((

I don't know if it's cannon or fanfic, and honestly idk if I just think this, or maybe I read it somewhere once, but fully believe that Jin in her confusion about how the candles and lamps lit, looked at zuko, saw his scar, and put 2&2 together that he's a firebender and stopped asking questions out of respect. I feel like she not only is nice enough she wouldn't judge nor pry on the subject, but she also had a crush on him so she just didn't care.

2024-11-23 00:10:48 +0000 UTCI think anyone who’s seen this show can be reduced to instant tears with nothing more than hearing someone sing the first line of “leaves from the vine…”. It gets me EVERY time. So so heartbreaking. 😭 Also I thought the same thing you did about Zuko’s date! I was sure she was leading him into a trap with the lights, trying to force him to use fire bending like Jet did. So it was nice to know she was just genuinely interested in him. And Momo…as one of my top 3 characters of this show, Momo’s pain hit sooooo hard. Appa’s all he can think about. 💔 I love that you really felt his suffering and it touched you.

I believe the whole of tales of iroh was the last audio he recorded for the show Edit: so I made this comment before looking at the video description and it looks like you did already know 😅 but ill keep my comment anyways for anyone who doesn't
