But we have some very exciting movies coming up and backlogged starting Monday!! :))

2024-07-13 09:25:00 +0000 UTCThe third original movie was grade A trash. Ranking really low on IMDB and rotten tomatoes. If Vee enjoyed it, she would enjoy the Jackie Chan one. Hell this 3rd film is at 14% on rotten tomatoes. Its just TRASH and you can tell by watching it why it is. The Jackie Chan remake is simply better than both the 2nd and 3rd films combined. Its a good movie, and its a good story. The next Karate kid is also just plain trash, its not good AT ALL. Rated even lowed than the 3rd film. Eesh.

There are film series she hasn't even finished, lol; Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales (thought you wanted to see more of Will and Elizabeth Turner, V ;)), Indiana Jones 5: Dial of Destiny, Jurassic Park 3, Mission Impossible 7 Part 1; Blade 2, Gremlins 2, Austin Powers 3: Goldmember, Predator 2, Aliens, and Men in Black 3.

I would not recommend either of them to be honest... they are just not that good. The Cobra Kai show, on the other hand is fantastic and I would LOVE to see a watch through of that!

2024-07-13 02:36:39 +0000 UTCI want to chime in and say that the Karate Kid remake with Jackie Chan was abysmal and shouldn't even be considered watching. They should have stayed away from the entire franchise and made it a completely different movie on its own merit. Hell, they aren't even doing karate in the damn move. It's all judo. Why is it even called karate kid anyway? In fact, I would recommend watching "The Next Karate Kid" with Hilary Swank before watching the crappy remake. "The Next Karate Kid" isn't anywhere close to the first three movies in terms of greatness, but it's still in the same timeline and follows Mr. Myagi (Spelling) in his next endeavor. And it still has a good story as well.

Not saying the original 3 are bad, but, there is just something extra fun seeing Jackie Chan on screen and doing what he does best. Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan interacting in that movie is just so tender. Would be cool to see you react to it vee.

2024-07-12 23:27:36 +0000 UTCI want to be the first one to say, that the Jackie Chan "remake" of Karate Kid with Jaden Smith, is actually pretty good. I hope you actually watch it. I think for me its even better than the original 2nd film (if I were to rank them) Jackie Chan actually does an amazing job for his role here and the fight choreography is actually better than even the first film imo. I mean its Jackie Chan, how could the fighting NOT be awesome. Behind the scenes, Not initially at first but in the end he actually trained Jaden Smith as his chorographer. Since you enjoyed all 3 of these original films, there is no reason at all that you wouldnt like the remake, it even ranks higher on IMDB than the last 2 films combined.
