Better Call Saul S4 Episode 6 | Full Length Reaction!

THIS EPISODE HAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SCENES IN BETTER CALL SAUL (SO FAR)
I talk about it in the ending but I feel like that scene was so incredibly symbolic of said character and describes not only their origins but also their demeanor perfectly

This was a very impressive episode and I CANT WAIT TO KEEP GOING ❤️❤️I'm in love with this show at this point LMAO

I've seen this series more than once and I just noticed something, I think. In the Cold Opening, Jimmy sees how impressed Kim is by Chuck, how much she admires him, like he's a rock star. The bit ends with Chuck walking off and Jimmy saying to Kim, "That'll be you one day." He almost seems sad about it, as if he's realizing that he's going to lose her once she moves up and becomes one of the "important people." Then he goes into the library. Could it be that it wasn't Chuck who inspired Jimmy to become a lawyer but it was Kim all along? He wanted to be the one to impress her. I re-watched the opening a couple of times but can't be sure. What do you guys think?

Well I wouldn't expect Gus' German to be any good, I don't think they're implying that he's supposed to be like a native speaker because he clearly isn't. So that's fine ^^ Which is different from these supposed Germans and of course Gus' Spanish.

Christophe

I'm not german and even I can tell Gus is pretty bad at it lol. It's the same with spanish in this and Breaking Bad. But oh well, try to ignore it I guess haha

here for the binge!!! I wish we could just do three episodes in one go or something :3

As someone who lives in Germany, the German that most of these actors speak is painful xD as far as I know, only two of them are actually German, the actors of Werner and Kai. Then they have a Serbian actor whose German is okay, but who's clearly not a native speaker. The rest of them are clearly just American extras that just memorized some German lines, at best they had some German classes at some point that they put on their résumé; but weirdly, it seems that these lines aren't even written by German speakers because they sound very odd and like just badly translated English. I get the reasoning behind that, in an American production it's probably not worth the expense to hire and fly over a bunch of native-speaking German extras just for a few background lines but if you actually speak the language, it really takes you of it xD

Next episode has one of my favorite intros

I felt that scene where Jimmy had to hold it together after hearing Kim's good news. We have probably all been there at some point. Gus's speech was masterful. Hector is completely at his will even if he doesn't know it. This was a great episode and we are building towards some more great episodes.

I feel like Jimmy has a lot of unresolved anger about his brother and how Howard enabled Chuck. The lady who died, however, she was always sweet to him, and he's the sort of person who responds to kindness with kindness. Like how he gave up on his dream of Wexler-McGill, Attorneys at Law in order to push Kim to do what was best for her, even though it hurt him to the point of physical pain. When he yelled at Howard, I do think he actually cared what Howard was going through, but that anger came out and made him seem like he was just being mean. Jimmy is one of those people who masks his emotions pretty well. The truth is always underneath what seems to be happening on the surface.

Vicky idk if you remember the last episode but he saw Howard at the court last episode and talked to him about therapy and he saw how much of a wreck Howard was even though he was seeing a therapist twice a week. Might not be healthy but justifiable to see how he feels like therapy is kind of giving up in his mind

You never fail to brighten my day. Thanks, V.
