Napoleon Dynamite | Full Length Reaction!

HERE'S NAPOLEON DYNAMITE.... first time witnessing this film and I'm realizing that I have NEVER seen a movie similar to this in terms of tone, comedy and acting. It felt like everyone on set was family and truly enjoyed filming this movie - they had so much fun you can just see it. :) So much heart was put into this film and has this awkward, teenage nostalgia air to it. It's like we didn't have the same experiences, but the tone and feeling this movie gives makes you remember those awk teen years LOL

I hope you guys enjoy this experience with me. ✨🤗

Vee the facial expression i've seen you make are funnier than the movie LOL

Dale Diaz

Yeah. It's hard to describe this movie. You almost expect it to take a dark, cynical turn, but it doesn't. Ends on a nice happy note. And I never knew there was an end credit scene. This was my first time seeing that. Just as hilarious and awkward as the rest of it.

Joe Blankenship

she ends her speech with "who wants to eat chiminy-changdas, not me. if you vote for me, it will be summer all year long" or something to that effect lol.

Jonah Bertorelli

To this day evey time my sister and I see a model ship we always wisper "I want that" And yes that is the same lady who plays Mac's mom from Sunny

Matt

What blatant racism?

PureGonzo

I saw this in theaters in it's first release....it then had a larger release. This was an indy film that was low budget (Jon Heder was paid $1000 as Napoleon) and it was picked up for distribution by the larger companies as it did well.

Justin

Hadn't seen this movie since it came out on DVD, watched it while I was in the Air Force on nightshift with an amazing group of people, great memories. Thank you V :)

Derder

priorities. lol

Jonah Bertorelli

Had the same thought lol

Brian

By the way his shoes are snow boots. lol

Jonah Bertorelli

I love how you ignored the blatant racism to adore her cute catch phrase hahahahahaaha

Jonah Bertorelli

It was filmed independently for $400,000 but after it screened at Sundance it was pick up by the big companies like Fox and Paramount for just the distribution.

Mitchell Bowker

Out of all the reactions I figured you might have to Napoleon's late kick "yeah" wasn't one of them. lmao! I'm glad you're seeming to like it so far.

Jonah Bertorelli

"I didn't know that about ligers, this changes everything" LMAO! I fuckin love your reactions.

Jonah Bertorelli

The incredible thing about this movie is that there aren't any built-in jokes with punchlines. The humor comes strictly from the awkward interactions of the characters. Also With a budget of 400 thousand this movie made 46 million in the box office.

VKunia

how did you know thats what i was gonna do today

VKunia

The actor who played the jock Don visited my middle school when the film was released and talked about the process of making the movie. It was a really cool experience.

Jeremy Bassi

I used to be able to throw a pigskin clear over them mountaintops.
