2024-04-15 15:09:18 +0000 UTCThat's mostly right, they won't be guaranteed to have that gift. Especially if he hooks up with a bender of another element like Katara since only the avatar can bend more than one element. If he's lucky, though, his kids COULD all be airbenders but probably not.

2024-04-13 15:36:57 +0000 UTCyeah, agreed, the costumes, martial arts, and VFX/CGI carry the live action show hard. and it's not even to a winning spot. the writing and child acting leaves a lot to be desired, the writing more than the child acting. however I do like a few of the creative liberties they took to make the story original to their way of telling. however I didn't like some other ones enough to sour my taste on the whole thing. I tried to be as non-biased as possible but they really butchered the dialog, the story telling, and the character arcs and progression. literally no growth, all off screen training, and group bonding. we don't see any of it. just have to assume it happened. and they took out a bunch of his shenanigan episodes and had the exact same run time. there was no excuse for such poor story telling. I tried to express my discontent and things I liked as vaguely as possible because I don't want to encourage a bad thought before watching, I want everyone to experience it for themselves without bad reviews and tastes in their mouth steering expectation. so definitely give it a go! and don't let our negative thoughts ruin it for you. as a new watcher you will probably enjoy it for the most part V!! however most mega fans feel let down.
