But we're here for the emotional ride with ya! <3 Its very much like Harry Potter, that it starts off very light hearted but gets heavy and dark.

2024-04-10 19:01:55 +0000 UTCthat scene from the live action you mentioned is a perfect example of how ridiculous that entire movie is. Its one of the worst movies ever made. and should only be watched as a meme. otherwise the more attached to the universe you are, the more it will physically hurt you.

It's a show about genocide but is able to sidestep words like death, kill, killed, etc almost completely. with enough younger humor, and dialog tweaking it's completely acceptable for kids, but the more you grow, the more the story reveals the darker truths behind the crafty use of words. there's humor, action, and plot for all ages, blended into one great story.

2024-04-10 18:35:08 +0000 UTCDid you catch Zhao's voice actor? Jason Isaacs of the Harry Potter movies and smaller parts in many other films. As Kel said, this show has somber moments mixed in with many light-hearted ones, and it does an excellent job of balancing them. Because it is aimed at a younger audience, it is more comedy than sad but it makes the somber ones more memorable like the Litle Soldier Boy (not a spoiler but iykyk)

There was a thing going around a while back about how βThis is not a kidβs show!β Yet at the same time it is, because of all the light-hearted moments you get throughout. I like the balance. And the characters are really wonderful. Iβm happy you love Uncle Iroh! You described him well. Iβm excited Momo joined the gang too! I always feel like these were the foundation episodes and now the real journey begins. Looking forward to more with you!
