Help Me Pick The Next Anime!! Poll time:)

So we just finished AOT after all this time... 🥹🥹 I immediately need to fill the hole that's going to leave with the next anime. I have had a lot of suggestions and I personally wanted to watch Death Note as it's pretty short BUT, i wanted to ask you guys and see what you think. I will be voting on my own poll this time for Death Note obviously, but you guys let me know what you guys want me to watch.

No I don't think I'm ready to take on One Piece yet LMAO 😭 Yes I am missing a lot of other must watches but I didn't want to make the list TOO long!!

Comments

Honestly you should watch Death Note (or JJK) and I strongly recomand you watch Frieren kinda in between watching Death Note, Since Frieren has only 1 season. But its worth 100%

PrejTik

Have you seen much or any south park V? I'd definitely stay tuned for some south park reactions. it's wild but SOO good. there's super mature, super relevant ideas and politics hidden behind toilet humor and childish jokes. in the most beautiful mixture of absurdity and reality.

Jonah Bertorelli

Robotech: Macross Saga. The classics can’t be ignored! Voltron:Defender of the Universe.

Ryan Cornett

I would've voted fullmetal 2009 if possible. But death note is cool too

Daniel Salva

I think you'll enjoy whatever is picked as I've seen almost everything on the list and all have definitely been worth watching in my opinion. If I had to pick one for you personally (based off your AOT reactions), Frieren: Beyond Journey's End would be my top pick!

Russell Gambardella

I'm with you there. There are a few animes that I like but they are few and far between and honestly, I've kinda given up on the genre because it's just so rare that I try an anime and I actually like it. Something about the over-the-top melodrama just doesn't do it for me.

Christophe

I would recommend Sword Art Online, it actually has alot of deep subjects throughout, cool characters and some amazing animation art styles, especially in the movies. Its hit or miss with some, maybe add to next poll? that along side DeathNote are in my top 10 anime.

Stephen Matthews

I would agree to this. Plus: I feel like reading subtitles doesnt work well for reaction videos.

Dioskur

That'll be after avatar then LMAO i wanna watch futurama tbh. I have seen episodes but never the full show

VKunia

To be brutally honest I'd be more interested in an animation poll where the options were Ren & Stimpy, South Park & Futurama.

Kev Martin

Actually difficult poll, I hate it. Went with Death Note, but woo boy, Code Geass, Castlevania,NGE, Spy x Family....halp, too many good ones. Although, I will chime in like others have, if it had been FMA: Brotherhood instead of the 2003 version, I would have voted Brotherhood instantly.

Derder

Also not the 2003 Full Metal Alchemist cause it’s not true to the manga, Brotherhood is the best

Jonathan Blake Fore

Code Geass is amazing so is Death Note

Jonathan Blake Fore

Frieren is a story directly inspired by Lord of the Rings and in some ways, done better. It's so under rated and so damn good. I wish more people knew about it and gave it a chance. My hope is that it's a show that will have Vees executive choice to react to at some point as it will never win a poll due to the amount of people thar don't truely know about it. Vee, as somebody like myself who only got their start with Anime last year on your channel, I vouch for this show. This is the show other than your AoT reactions that got me hooked into some Anime.

LightsCameraJake

Need more Vinland Saga support! Lol even if it doesn't win trust the fanatics like myself and give it a watch at some point. You will not regret it. It will give you amazing reactions that I think all of your supporters will enjoy despite it not being as popular as some of the more recognized anime like AOT, Jujutsu Kaisen, etc.

Tom

Death Note, Code Geass and Vinland Saga are amazing, but i'm going with Death Note, such a classic!!

Codeserk

It's all good! I also figure if you put Brotherhood on the poll, it would do better than the other show. They do a good job quickly going over the important things from the previous show in Brotherhood, so that may be the only show you need to watch! You'd love it 🙂

Eric Tanaka

Vinland saga is amazing. Highly recommend 👌

Pyapa1123

I would like to nominate Last Exile and Elfen Lied. For this poll I recommend Vinland Saga and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Haru

sorry desk!!! 😭 ill keep it in mind for next time

VKunia

I'd also suggest Your Lie in April, the first anime I ever watched so has a very special place in my heart!

James Payne

when I was doing research, I was confused and someone said I had to watch FMA before FMAB so that's why FMAB is not on there :/ i will keep this in mind for next time!

VKunia

I’ve been meaning to start JJK so I wouldn’t mind watching that with you. I did watch the first episode of Death Note and wasn’t sure how I felt about it. Maybe with you I’ll see it in a different light!

Kel

Some great choices here! I would personally choose Brotherhood over the OG FMA, but I'm sure the OG is awesome too! Jujutsu Kaisen I think would be epic, especially since S3 will eventually come out, meanwhile Violet Evergarden has finished. I've watched all of Evangelion, but it's certainly, as someone has previously mentioned, a very deep show. Excited no matter what you pick!

James Payne

What, no Hellsing?

deskmerc

Death Note is a good choice. Full metal alchemyst 2003 doesn't really follow the original manga, I suggest you to watch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. It sticks to the manga and tells the whole story. Steins;Gate and Violet Evergarden are really good, too. Frieren: Beyond journey's end is the best.

Szilard

Mob Psycho getting disrespected here... but death note would be hype anyway

A2Rhombus

As someone else mentioned here, you should make sure to watch "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood" and not the other version. Brotherhood follows the actual manga and is a much better story!

CrimsonCreamSun

Not sure if you've already seen Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, but I'd say that's a better version of this show to watch than the 2003 show. If you can find a way to watch the old one, there's a way to watch it where some initial episodes flesh out the beginning better, but the story diverges from the actual manga's story in the first show. Aaaand tbh the alternative story that was made up for the first show wasn't the greatest. But it's not gonna win, but either way I wanted to put that info out there.

Eric Tanaka

For those who watch anime other places than Netflix, there are a few classics out there: - HiDive has Azumanga Daioh (imagine if Charles Schulz wrote an anime and turned the Peanuts gang into high-school girls), and Princess Tutu (Sailor Moon at ballet school?...Not quite.) - The original 80's Urusei Yatsura series has now joined the Movies at Crunchyroll (you are no anime fan if you have never seen Beautiful Dreamer) - And for all the silliness of Urusei with half the calories, the kung-fu romcom of Ranma 1/2 is currently streaming subbed/dubbed on....TubiTV, of course, where else?

Eric Janssen

Same, i dont like anime at all

NareikAC

Not an anime person so won't vote will just see what wins for curiosity sake 👍

Ian

Really great to see steinsgate on here though

MenuMitch

Plenty of time. I hope to be watching your videos for many years to come. 😁

Tom W.

Thank you!! I will add it onto my list :)

VKunia

If you watch Death note can you watch the dubbed version since it's actually pretty good

Andy .A

Sword art online? I just want 1 episode reacted to lol

MenuMitch

Since it's not in the poll. I would like to suggest The Seven Deadly Sins

Kev Rink

They were some of the choices I had on but omitted because list got too long 😭

VKunia

May I humbly suggest: Ghost in the Shell; Stand Alone Complex and Fooly Cooly (FLCL). Keep up the great work V!

Tom W.

Steins Gate would be great to see but I watched that more recently so I gotta go with Death Note. Long long time ago.
