Tom Cruise actually hung to the outside of that plane, no CGI, no special effects. He actually did that with only wearing a small safety harness. There is behind the scenes videos of it. Its amazing to watch. Remember vee, this is Tom Cruise, if you think a stunt he is doing is CGI or faked, it aint, especially in every mission impossible movie, prides himself on authenticity. This is a guy who flew his own Jet and P51 mustang in the newest Top Gun just so they didnt have to use CGI (the jet had CGI masking, to look like a F14 Tomcat but it was his own jet he flew for the film) xD

All the other MIs had different writers and directors but McQuarrie has done every entry since then and, yeah, they absolutely use them to travel wherever they want in the world to do fun stunts and visit interesting places. Tom definitely hung onto the outside of that plane. Fallout is generally considered the fan favourite and is a direct sequel to this. From here on in they are much more connected with lots of call backs to earlier stories and recurring characters. If you want to see Rebecca Ferguson play a villain she’s absolutely terrifying in Doctor Sleep and delightfully campy in The Kid Who Would Be King.

I don't recall seeing her work prior to this big screen role but since then she's been cast in some good projects. Since "30 Rock" ended its run I've found only a couple of shows that came close to its offbeat type of humor - "Great News" (2017 - 2018) created by Tracey Wigfield, and "Mr. Mayor" (2021 - 2022), both of which have producing roots with Tina Fey and Robert Carlock of "30 Rock". I still watch "Great News" when I want to laugh at goofy, whimsical silliness.
