🧣❄️Animated Film Poll!❄️🧣

Hi everyone!! Hope you're having a wonderful February so far! (I'm on my third time being sick this year... send help... and medicine LOL)

AS YOU KNOWWW we have been doing polls based on genres! So this weeks poll is an animated film poll!!

In this poll I threw in animated movies that have either been requested by you guys, or movies that I myself have heard a LOT about and would like to see 😊

And just so you guys know or if anyone is new here, hi!🙂✨Just because a film wins a poll DOES NOT count out the other films on the poll or on any other poll! You guys know I love to do surprise uploads so IF YOU GUYS COMMENT A SPECIFIC TITLE AND IT'S CLEAR A LOT OF YOU WANT ME TO WATCH IT, THE MORE LIKELY I AM TO DO IT EVEN IF IT DOESN'T WIN A POLL!!!😊😊

Your opinions are incredibly valuable to me so please write them down below in the comments along with recommendations!! This is an open conversation and I love to hear what you guys have to say. :)

**The next poll will be between action/sci-fi so hit me with those recommendations as well!!:)

Thank you guys so much, I can't wait to see what you all choose! ( •̀ ω •́ )✧(*^-^*)

inside out has such a special place in my heart, i hope it get another shot

MoulinNoir

I'll be interested in what you think about The Lion King

Dafydd Brooks

She hasn’t seen Project A-Ko, Galaxy Express 999, or Urusei Yatsura: Beautiful Dreamer!

Eric Janssen

As Leigh said above, I'd definitely recommend An American Tail. It's a classic animated film from the 80's with a beautiful and poignant theme song. For action/sci-fi films, I highly recommend The Last Starfighter, the original Dune from the 80's, and Dark City (a movie that was one of the inspirations for The Matrix). And for action/sci-fi TV shows, I have only one request and recommendation, and that is Babylon 5, a legendary and groundbreaking series from the 90's. Also, Vicky, I really hope you'll consider the western genre for one of your upcoming polls because there's an epic and unforgettable four-part miniseries from 1989 that I simply can't recommend enough. It's widely (and rightly) regarded as one of the greatest westerns ever made - Lonesome Dove. It's not just a film. It's a journey. And you won't be the same afterward. I've only just signed on here, but I've been enjoying your movie reactions for a while now. You're so warm and sweet and empathetic, and that's really nice to see amidst all the mess that's often online, and it makes your reactions so much more genuine, heartfelt, and good to watch. :)

Slate

Agreed!

Slate

we dont watch Ghibli films and shows. They are responsible for Vkunia first channel being taken down. Matter a fact, its good to let other reactors know they take down channels and to not watch their content for their channels.

I think it was Brad Bird that said animation isn't a genre, it's a medium. You can tell any kind of story you want with animation; it's freeing in a way live-action often struggles to be. That said, how about some animated action/sci-fi recommendations? :) TITAN A.E. (2000) FINAL FANTASY: THE SPIRITS WITHIN (2001) TREASURE PLANET (2002) ...and of course a lot of Japanese films you've probably already seen. :)

Bryan Tuck

My patreons are smothering me in animations lately

Rey

You should do An American Tail

Leigh Nathaniel Silver

Even though it's low in the ratings, still hoping for Isle of Dogs! You can't allow yourself to pass up a Wes Anderson movie!

Sir Jimmothy

for next poll- Prey,TMNT original, Jumanji newer ones.

rick trevino

Idk, even if Vee hasn't technically seen it yet (which is surprising), I'm sure she already knows a lot of the movie and the characters and some scenes because it's just such a famous movie, you can't really escape it. So I think her reaction would be a bit diminished because of that.

Christophe

I agree with your point on the animated movies but it's still a bit rich to talk like that about a movie you haven't seen ^^ I wouldn't say necessarily that Ratatouille is "childish", yes it has a lot of hijinks in it, but so does Inside Out. It's maybe somewhat of a simpler movie, conceptually, than Inside Out but depending on you who are I think people can still get a lot of meaning from it. Pixar doesn't really do dumb, fun movies without meaning (except for arguably the Cars sequels which only exist to sell toys anyway) and Ratatouille is no exception to that, it's very sweet and very relatable in some ways.

Christophe

Inside Out was the closest we ever actually got to that holy-grail “Pixar Best Picture Oscar”, if the Golden Globes hadn’t spoiled the party.

Eric Janssen

Inside Out is a must... The best animated movie of the last decade, imo. So beautifully animated, so funny and still so insightful and emotional, it just has everything.

Christophe

How about none of the above?

Richard Maurer

You would be perfect for reacting to: One Day (2024 Netflix show) its only 14 episodes. Its been ages since i watched a romance based show/movie but this is worth it. I've read some comments that this show is life-changing... ngl I kinda see and understand that. Now that I just finished the show

Matt Chris

Another one for the ongoing list The Prophet (2014) based on the book by Kahlil Gibran

Garrick Smalley

Animated: basically all the Ghibli and Pixar films. Plus "Your Name", and others by Makoto Shinkai. Action: "The 13th Warrior"

Bill Woods

Since your now watching BCS; for the action poll I recommend "Nobody" with Bob Odenkirk. It is a fun flick sorta similar to John Wick but with more comedy.

JeremyOnDeck

For action i recommend the raid redemption its incredible and demolition man.

Wesley Farrell

Stop being sick :(

Derder

Have you seen the Toy Story movies? They're all good. Part 4 might be up for debate, but I liked it. It stands alone from the OG trilogy.

Joe Blankenship

Too bad the most cliché, simple, childish stories are winning. I'm sure Ratatouille is great from what I've heard, I still haven't seen it, but I imagine it doesn't compare psychologically to Inside Out. Well, at least Cars isn't in the lead. And yes I agree with Ian, WALL-E should be on this list. Action/sci-fi Sunshine(2007) SUCH A GOOD CAST! Why don't more people request this film?!?! It has one of the most epic score scenes of all time, next to Interstellar's "Docking" scene.

YodatheHobbit

Super Mario Bros over most of these films is a fucking travesty

Ian

For the sci-fi poll, I highly recommend The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonsai Across the Eighth Dimension! Amazing cast and just a crazy movie.

G. T. Blackwell

aww i wish Kubo and the Two Strings was on the list it's a stop motion movie that has a place in my heart for action/sci fi how about Sunshine (2007) Children of Men (2006) Demolition Man (1993) Dredd (2012)

vlocke67

Voted: Inside Out and Ice Age. If the Lion King in the poll is the original (1994), you can add one more vote! 😁

Daniel Almeida

I know it has nothing to do with the poll but now would be a good time to watch Starship Troopers! I think it was doing pretty well on a scifi poll but didnt win. I'm saying now is a good time because it's kind of trending with the popularity of Helldivers 2

Stephen Werben

Action/Sci-Fi? Demolition Man Judge Dread (1995) Back to the Future Terminator (mostly so you can get to Terminator 2, the best one) Aliens (Alien 2) Dark City Starship Troopers The Abyss Underwater Robocop 2 Pitch Black The Last Starfighter

Raptor

Inside out is by far the best one on this list.

Richard Lowe (The Writing King)

Fantastic Planet (1973) The Last Unicorn (1982) Wizards (1977)

Jordan Love

I am surprised that you haven't seen The Lion King yet. Since you mentioned that your next poll will be about action/sci-fi, I am going to recommend: Starship Troopers, Dredd, and Total Recall.

Jeremy Bassi

Going for brave but I can't not recommend wall-E it's something I only watched in the new year and it's a beautiful movie that everyone should watch it will warm your heart Vicky

Ian

You will definitely love Lion King. I can’t wait for that. Also I second Inside Out for next time! It’s such an emotional wringer of a movie but so so so good and with lots of laughs as well.

Kel

Inside Out and Soul would be my picks

Ian

No way you haven’t seen some of these, right? Feel like all of us in our 20s has seen the Lion King

Ian

Voted for the only two I've seen

mikethemotormouth

It came out before I was born 🥲 I've seen other disney movies though!!

VKunia

How have you NOT seen lion King. I swear they play that everywhere and in school growing up. I guess call me shocked 😂

LightsCameraJake

Hell yeah!

Jonathan Wiking

Yes! I am :)

VKunia

Lion King is the only one I've seen. And only the original.

Tom W.

Im gonna vote lion king because i assume you mean the original 1994 animated movie 😅

Jonathan Wiking

Willow McPhie

Lion King would be awesome

Zack Sutton
