I was watching your reaction to the Austin Powers movies and I loved them. I actually did my masters thesis on 1960’s rock music and culture, and I can tell you that just about all of the music is period correct. The night club song in the first movie is “Incense and Peppermint” by Strawberry Alarm Clock. One more thing, if you want to understand Mrs. Kensington character, you need to watch the old British tv show “The Avengers”. Many of the actors would be in Bond Films. Patrick Macnee would star as John Steed and he would be Mr. Tibbett in “ A View to a Kill”. His first female counterpart was Cathy Gale who was played Honor Blackman who left the show to be in Goldfinger. She was portrayed as Steeds equal in everything especially combat. After Blackman left, they got Diana Rigg to play Mrs. Emma Peel. She was also Steed equal if not his superior in combat. Diana left the show to be Tracy. It is worth a watch even if you don’t watch it for this reason, it is still worth it. The only mistake is the inclusion of American Woman in the second movie, which should not be there because it was released in 1970 and the movie is set 1969, but it is still a cool song.

For example, the movie Goldfinger (1964) had a character named "Odd Job" (aka Random Task in Austin Powers) and "Pu**y Galore" (aka Alotta V*****" in Austin Powers). I love James Bond and Austin Powers. All three Austin Powers films spoof James Bond Perfectly. Funny stuff.

In fact the character "Random Task" is a spoof of "Odd Job" in the James Bond film Goldfinger from 1964 (he throws his hat instead of his shoe to kill his enemy). Also, Goldfinger features the character "Pussy Galore", who's a villain in the film. Austin Powers is making fun of the ridiculousness of the villains names.

That is the best place to find this movie :) These movie are absolutely spoofing the 007 James Bond movies. This is grade "A" comedy right here! Mike Myers plays multiple characters in each film, lets see if you spot which ones as he plays more and more each movie. He plays Dr Evil in this one AND Austin Powers here but there is so much more Mike Myers to come and im very excited!
