🍵Thriller Movie Poll!!⛸️

Hey everyone! Hope you're all enjoying your week thus far!! :)

For today's poll, we're voting on what Thriller movie we'll be watching next!!! It was a bit difficult to choose which films to put on this post since a lot of thriller films technically go into other genres (ie; sci-fi, action, comedy, etc) so I just grabbed many of the highest recommended thriller movies that you all have suggested to me under other polls and compiled them. :)

So if you guys want me to throw a film on a poll, don't keep quiet - say something in the comments!!

As usual, polls will be changed around in the future so don't worry if you don't see your suggestion!!!! Each poll usually sticks to a type of theme/genre, and I think that's the best way to go about them. If you have any suggestions or creative recommendations don't be afraid to comment them down below!! I love hearing what you guys have to say 💞

I can't wait to see what movie you guys are going to choose for us to experience! You guys never cease to amaze me, a lot of these films are ones I wouldn't typically choose or watch on my own, but I've always been very pleasantly surprised so I really look forward to this.

Thank you all so much. Can't wait to see what you all have to say. 😊🤍

Another great robin Williams thriller is one hour photo

S Elphick

Oh please add the shawshank redemption on the list

S Elphick

Really I loved Seven but The Departed was an amazing film

S Elphick

Seven is such a let down. The Departed is definitely the best one on this list

Nathan Bittner

For me, Zodiac was ok, follow our stars as they search from this elusive maniac. this true story took place to where I lived, in the bay area.

Steve H

Prisoners is the best movie on that list imo

LEE ROBINSON

And Zodiac

S Elphick

If Seven does win then this is one of the most intense movie you ever get to see

S Elphick

Insomnia is such an underrated movie. Robin Williams was great in this, along with Al Pacino. Such a bleak setting that fits with the bleak story. I hope V gets around to it sooner rather than later.

Patrick Dillon

Since it looks like Se7en's gonna win the poll, I won't say anything about it, but, y'all who voted for it, DAMN! SMH...

Thomas Malmin

There so many good choices here gone girl, memento, the departed, insomnia, reservoir dogs, zodiac, vertigo and prisoners

S Elphick

Suggestions for films for future Thriller Polls :- The 1964 (Seven Days In May) starring Burt Lancaster & Kirk Douglas, The 1968 (Bullitt) starring Steve McQueen, The 1974 (The Parallax View) starring Warren Beatty & Paula Prentiss. The 1975 (Three Days Of The Condor) starring Robert Redford, The 1980 (The Long Good Friday) starring Bob Hoskins & Helen Mirren, The 1986 (F/X) starring Bryan Brown & Brian Dennehy.

Long-time Sci-Fi Enthusiast

Might I suggest the thriller The Shawshank Redemption stars Morgan Freeman, your recent post of Bruce Almighty reminded me of it

vlocke67

for future polls- TMNT original movie,spaceballs.robin hood:men in tights,Black Panther:Wakanda Forever,Prey,Jumanji-newer ones,Once Upon A Time in Hollywood

rick trevino

Soo fucking good

Rey

Memento , se7en , drive , and prisoners are some top choice thrillers

Rey

Copycat (1995)

David K

Prisoners is so fucking good. It’s directed by Denis Villeneuve, the director of the new Dune movies as well as some other amazing films

Ian

Cellular is a great thriller, suspense movie starring Chris Evans, Jason Statham, Kim Basinger, and Jessica Biel. I highly recommend seeing that. I think you'll enjoy it.

StaticBlaster

Memento, Se7en, and Prisoners got my vote!

_tragicmike

The Birdcage? LOL

_tragicmike

lol just popping in to add my voice to the folks saying to put The Birdcage (a great Robin Williams movie) onto a comedy poll (where hopefully it wins, imo)

MoulinNoir

I don't think I could narrow this down to one choice. There is several great films here. Memento or Zodiac might be my top choices though.

JeremyOnDeck

Please watch Seven it’s a great movie

S Elphick

I highly recommend The Raid (2011 ) it is a great action thriller and was one of the best films of the 2010's.

Wesley Farrell

LOL 'The Birdcage' That's not a thriller it is a comedy. A very good comedy but not a thriller lol

Alfounce Jolly

Already knew what would be in the lead before even choosing... meh

Greg S.

Talented mr ripley is under rated on reaction channels

david ammerman

I think a sleeper mystery thriller is Dead Again with Kenneth Branagh, Emma Thompson, Andy Garcia, Robin Williams, and Derek Jacobi is a twisting ending surprise.

Excellent list! It's hard to stick to one or two, or three! Se7en is excellent, but I wonder if you'll like it because it's very disturbing. Zodiac. Another masterpiece. With Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr. The Departed. Prime work. Masterpiece! Bright! One of my favorite films. It might be a problem when editing for YT, as it's on the list of films that use the f* word the most (257 times, practically, 1 every 2 minutes! LOL), with Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Vera Farmiga, Martin Sheen. Drive. You are a fan of Ryan Gosling, and it's a good film. So... Bryan Cranston, Carey Mulligan, and Oscar Issac are also in this film) Prisoners is another phenomenal one. With Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman. Hannibal needs no introduction, but it is more graphic than Silence of the Lambs. How am I going to choose????? LOL You will probably see 4 movies of this poll in the future (at least) P.S. Did you see my messages about delivery (3 now) on Discord? Sorry for bothering you! I'm just worried (if I sent you wrong). I'm really really really sorry for bothering you!

Daniel Almeida

Voted for Drive and Gone Girl because I like them. I like The Birdcage too but the only really thrilling part is Hank Azaria in those denim shorts.

Jacob King

It should. 😂

Kel

I love that movie!

Kel

The Birdcage is an hilarious comedy. I voted for Vertigo because it's a Hitchcock masterpiece which will keep you guessing all the way through. On your next Thriller Poll I'd love to see how SEA OF LOVE (1989) polls. It's a tremendous nail-biter with great performances by Al Pacino and Ellen Barkin. Best wishes!

Robert Jewell

For me it was close between The Departed & Se7en, but think you’ll enjoy The Departed more (I like it better too lol) so I voted for that. Se7en is from the same director of Fight Club (David Fincher) which I thought I remember you saying you weren’t the biggest fan of in one of your videos. As others have said it can also get extremely disturbing at some points. The Departed is probably somewhere in my Top 10-15 movies of all time. Not sure if you’ll like it that much but don’t think you’ll spend half the movie looking away/covering your eyes like I think you would w/ Se7en lol

D

I think I watched The Birdcage wrong.

Jordan Love

Best of luck👀🤣

DarkHorse

Hey Vee! (Please read all the way through for a movie you may want to react to) In response to your post here, I have an idea for a poll we havnt seen yet (or at least maybe not me personally) Let's do like a racing poll or a sport poll. Some amazing sport movies out there thst even if you are not into sports, they have really amazing and sometimes emotional stories! The best ones are the ones based in real events! If you make a post about recommending those movies I'm sure a lot of us would chip in! I'll drop one movie right now based on a true story starring our favorite Chadwick Boseman. A movie called "42" it's the true story about the first African American baseball player in the MLB and since Black History month is next month, I figured you could have the option to sneak this one in there for next month.

LightsCameraJake

Personally I didn't care for Gone Girl or Zodiac. Both could have used a bit of tightening up in the runtime.

Tom W.

"Se7en" is a good thriller. It was early practice for director David Fincher's later films, "Gone Girl" and "Zodiac".

ButtercupsTrueLove

Drive, Zodiac or Prisoners 🤞🤞🤞

Matt

I do have an answer for that but I don't want to spoil anything for V.

Tom W.

Since you already have two David Fincher thrillers ("Se7en" and "Gone Girl") in the poll, you might as well add "The Game (1997)" 😁

Lester Yung

the most important movie in the poll is Promising Young Woman.

Timothy Banks

How many 'thrillers' are also 'feel-good' movies??? :D

MertzRocks

Somehow I confused this with both Frailty (2001) and Identity (2003), even though I've seen all three.

nitind

Very much so. Definitely not a "feel good" movie. But, that being said, it's still excellent.

Tom W.

So is Gone Girl.

nitind

Every single one of these is a must watch, this isn’t fair lmao. My vote has to go to Prisoners, absolute masterpiece from a storytelling/acting/moral dilemma standpoint

Mathieu Paquin

Surprised if The Birdcage belongs in this list. Nick of Time (1995) and Cold Pursuit (2019) would be good additions for the future.

nitind

Pleased to see another Fincher film Gone Girl in a not-too-distant second place

mikethemotormouth

For you next Horror movie whenever that is (prolly Oct😅) you should throw The Night House on the poll, it's excellent and super original. Mix of thriller & horror

Jon Exler

Oh no... it's disturbing? Oh great LOL

VKunia

Se7en, Memento, and Reservoir Dogs on the same list?! I can't believe Gone Girl is neck and neck with Se7en. Lol

Raptor

THIS SCARES ME???

VKunia

I'm excited too 😊

VKunia

I would have voted for The Birdcage immediately if it fit the genre in the least but it is total comedy

mikethemotormouth

Going to recommend two movies - Deliverance and misery , if you're curious I voted for gone girl 👍

Ian

These are all great options! Can't wait to watch w you Vicky

Jon Exler

Se7en is going to crush you if it wins 👀

DarkHorse

Heat (1995) and/or The Town (2010)

TeddyKGB

Seven is going to walk away with this one. Everyone needs to see that movie, as disturbing as it is.

Tom W.

I recommend Fracture from 2007
