Idk about the Devil May Cry show. DMC is similar to Res Evil in that there plots can be very corny or tongue in cheek; along with over the top performances and cheesy writing. These can be difficult to translate from Video Game to Show. I love Arcane, Castlevania, and DOTA on Netflix. But thinking about DMC as a show...if they treat it like its an old school version of Bayonetta, lol, and go deep into the cringe of DMC, lol, then maybe they can pull it off.

2023-10-12 20:17:45 +0000 UTCI felt the same way about One Piece when it comes to the commitment of 1,000 plus episodes, but I believe its worth it. I started watching the series thinking it was overhyped, an now its one of the best anime's I have ever seen. I hope you decide to watch it one day.

I remember when I finally took the dive oh so long ago and got to this point in the story - there is so much more story to have and more of the world to explore and to have a great adventure on. We haven't even gotten to the Grand Line yet. If you do decide to dive into the anime - I think it's better to watch the non "HD" version of the early seasons. They do that zoom in on 3:4 video thing to make it 16x9 and it's ugly, and you miss a lot of details. Also, you might be surprised how fast you'll get through 1K episodes lmao For the Zoro v Sanji rivalry... You can infer their reasons in the anime a lot more in the anime than the live action during the Baratie arc. There's genuinely quite a bit they've left out that are core to these characters. Except the NamiXSanji relationship is about the same. To sum it up - Sanji is a total hopeless simp lmao
