🌴Comedy/Light hearted Film Poll🌴
Added 2023-09-17 05:37:11 +0000 UTCHey guys! This is a bit more of a light-hearted poll than I usually do, its mainly comedy and a lot of these films can be deemed on opposing sides of the genre - but this is such a vast category so we'll see how we do with certain movies! I've been having a lot of fun with the most recent comedies that I've grown up and missed out on 😊
I threw a *TON* of films on this poll just to get more of a feel of your opinions:)
Also please note: Each movie is different and don't forget to be respectful in the comments! Expressing opinions in a respectful manner is possible and remember rudeness will not be tolerated, this a feel good place so please respect each other and the poll!!! Just cause a movie you don't like is on the poll doesn't mean you have to hate! So be nice pls :)
Recommendations are always accepted and appreciated!! I took your recommendations for the last poll and will be altering and changing up the next main one :) we're out here adapting with each poll! So feel free to be a part of it! I love it when you guys are 🥰 I hope you're enjoying the end of your summer, please stay safe and healthy friends 🧉🏝🪸

2023-09-27 23:10:03 +0000 UTCYou gotta watch Mr. Deeds! You'll love it!

2023-09-25 03:06:05 +0000 UTCYeah I couldn’t get into breaking bad too

2023-09-19 20:57:21 +0000 UTCI tried to do the poll but I click and nothing happens so I'll just tell you. My selections are The Pink Panther (if it's the one from the 60s) and Roman Holiday.

2023-09-19 15:21:37 +0000 UTCTo be honest, wasn't interested in Breaking Bad (at the moment) and Attack of Titans (I actual stopped watching it myself after Season 2 came out.. Just couldn't appreciate the art style or the gore anymore lol) I subbed again when you watched Alita, and maybe i will do so again when something interesting happens again (:

2023-09-18 13:13:15 +0000 UTCFor comedies that I enjoyed and laughed at, The Hangover (2009) - featuring Zach Galifianakis, lol I laugh already Bridesmaids (2011) - starring Kristen Wiig aw... Click! (2006) - featuring Christopher Walken wow... "Whaw!"

2023-09-18 03:07:14 +0000 UTCI think you could include REVENGE OF THE NERDS (1984) American comedy... and PORKY'S (1981) also comedy. They probably belong on the list above 😅

2023-09-18 02:23:11 +0000 UTCNot really. There's like one random dude from two years ago who actually did a proper reaction on YT. None of the myriads of well known reactors have watched it.

2023-09-18 00:50:09 +0000 UTCOh it's been done a few times. Just gotta look.

2023-09-18 00:36:46 +0000 UTCYes, even when it was in theaters, kids treated Pie as “Wow, is this just like those Porky’s movies that my parents grew up with? I’m carrying on a tradition of glorious 80’s nostalgia, for a new generation!” (Now, you’d think with cable channels and Internet porn, a generation wouldn’t NEED dopey raunchy comedies like their parents once did, but…)

2023-09-17 21:56:36 +0000 UTCWell, hopefully, you still might give "Game Night" a try someday

2023-09-17 17:28:26 +0000 UTCRat race is hilarious
Calbert
2023-09-17 16:59:33 +0000 UTCNot shocked in the slightest that the most raunchy movie is winning. 😂

2023-09-17 15:39:41 +0000 UTCWe need a few comedies, with all the heavy, sad stuff Vee has been watching lately.
Mastervodo
2023-09-17 14:56:15 +0000 UTCDon't forget Role Models if you haven't seen it before.

2023-09-17 14:23:46 +0000 UTCDid you watch O Brother Where Art Thou? I thought that won a poll. I wish Wet Hot American Summer could win. It's got a sequel and a show on Netflix that are just as funny. It's from the guys who were on The State on MTV, and Reno 911.
Joe Blankenship
2023-09-17 12:02:49 +0000 UTCYeah if it’s Peter sellers version I would vote for it every time
David
2023-09-17 11:54:27 +0000 UTCSuper Troopers needs to win one of these. No one has reacted to it, but maybe you'll set off a chain reaction.
Greg S.
2023-09-17 11:29:43 +0000 UTCThere's only one film on the list that is a light-hearted comedy masterpiece so I voted for it rather than a guy overly excited about a dessert.

2023-09-17 10:38:47 +0000 UTCCouple suggestions for future polls for a couple comedies are "The Cannonball Run" and "Rat Race". They are kinda similar in nature (big race across the country for cash prize) and have very good cast lists.

2023-09-17 10:05:13 +0000 UTCFor the 35 people so far who haven’t voted for Roman Holiday, Google “Audrey Hepburn”. 😍
Eric Janssen
2023-09-17 09:51:19 +0000 UTCYoung Frankenstein is a must at some point if you haven't already, Mel Brooks 🙌
Chris Shine
2023-09-17 09:24:24 +0000 UTCMystery men 100% 👍
Ian
2023-09-17 09:17:56 +0000 UTCWould help to add year of the movie. Case in point, Pink Panther.

2023-09-17 09:05:26 +0000 UTCGood to see Game Night doing well. It’s surprisingly underrated for a movie that is pure hijinks. Wet Hot American Summer is probably the strongest comedy on the list just going joke for joke. Also Christopher Meloni!
Jacob King
2023-09-17 08:32:46 +0000 UTCWell I know I'M certainly not. Lol
Steve Sanders
2023-09-17 08:13:18 +0000 UTCIndeed; are we talking Peter Sellers or Steve Martin? :)
Bryan Tuck
2023-09-17 07:43:38 +0000 UTCMystery Men (1999) and I'll second Jason Pratt's suggestion of Three Amigos! (1986) and maybe add Little Shop of Horrors (1986).
Jordan Love
2023-09-17 07:42:58 +0000 UTCYes, one viewing of Three Amigos will put an entire slate of "recreational" 00's bro-comedies to shame. I tend to believe great American mainstream humor ended with '99's "Bowfinger", also, not coincidentally, with Steve Martin and Eddie Murphy.
Eric Janssen
2023-09-17 07:08:10 +0000 UTCWorth taking if one's not offended by gratuitous nudity and bad taste.
Jonathan Strahan
2023-09-17 07:03:00 +0000 UTCWhich Pink Panther movie? If it’s the one from the 60s with Peter Sellers then I’m absolutely voting for it.
Adam Grunther
2023-09-17 06:39:58 +0000 UTCThis one time, at band camp..

2023-09-17 06:13:28 +0000 UTCBARBIE is also available online now would love a reaction to that, and Greta Gerwig's other films LADY BIRD and LITTLE WOMAN are also amazing highly recommend them too

2023-09-17 05:56:26 +0000 UTCOriginal Pink Panther films are some of my favorite comedys ever really hope they get a reaction
Matt
2023-09-17 05:54:14 +0000 UTCGone for pink panther hopefully the original not the remake , Peter sellers was a genius so funny but American pie will probably win cuz it's been making the rounds in the reaction circuit so people will just vote for that 😐 you will enjoy it though Vicky I'm sure 👌 as you loved knives out and glass onion I've gotta again recommend CLUE it's a perfect fun time for you so hopefully it makes a poll one day 🤞have a wonderful Sunday y'all
Ian
2023-09-17 05:52:21 +0000 UTCOh here's a fun fact.... I won't spoil it but IYKYK lol

Jason Pratt
2023-09-17 05:44:32 +0000 UTCYes!!! A lot of these are great. Some depend more on certain recreational habits 😁. Some other flicks I’d recommend are Three Amigos with Chevy Chase, Martin Short, and Steve Martin- Cocktail with Tom Cruise and Elisabeth Shue- The Replacements with Keanu Reeves and Gene Hackman- The Cowboy Way with Keifer Sutherland and Woody Harrelson- Three to Tango with Matthew Perry and Neve Campbell.
Jason Pratt
2023-09-17 05:44:16 +0000 UTCEurotrip is such an underappreciated comedy. I seriously hope it wins
