I need your opinions please! ✨🥰
Added 2023-09-14 06:09:06 +0000 UTCHey guys! As you know, your opinions are very important to me and I take your feedback very seriously!
So I have a couple topics I'd like to ask for your opinions on!
1: I'm *extremely* interested in watching the One Piece live action! So as I take a tiny break from Breaking Bad, I was thinking about jumping into that! I was thinking about doing the anime eventually as well :) (so even if I do live action I'll still also do the anime!!) would you guys be interested in me beginning the live action and then eventually doing the anime? 🥰 the anime I quite the commitment so it would take some time before then!
2: Ahsoka! So as a few of you had mentioned, I need to watch Rebels and Clone Wars before Ahsoka - I've seen quite a few episodes of Clone Wars so I know Ahsoka's character, and from what I've been told; Ahsoka is essentially season 4 of Rebels, but about 15 years into the future! I know who the characters in Rebels are and some of the basics but that's about it so as a few of you had suggested I shouldn't uldn't jump into Ahsoka without fully watching Rebels! I'd appreciate your thoughts on this. :)
3: I'd like to know what single season of a show you'd like for me to watch before jumping right back into season 4 of Breaking Bad! ☺️🤗 (I was going to have this one be the One Piece live action but I'd like to know your thoughts first!)

Seeing this post for the first time now. Only a little late! (2 years) Hope you consider watching more Clone Wars some time in the future after you've finished your current serialized shows, then move on to Rebels. I LOVED watching StruggleNations's reactions to Clone Wars, and they just started Rebels and are super digging it so far. Rebels seasons are also much shorter than The Clone Wars.

2025-03-08 06:10:45 +0000 UTCSuper late here. clone wars is anthological, I would say to bridge Ahsoka from Clone Wars and Ahsoka from Rebels would be to watch the last 4 episodes of season 5 and the last 4 episodes of season 7 of the clone wars. Those closed-off story arcs are massively important to her character development and her story. For Rebels, I feel like there is a list online you can watch the important episodes, although I’d argue most of the show is important for the Ahsoka series. Hope you enjoy whatever you end up watching 😊

2023-10-01 17:15:46 +0000 UTCWhat an incredibly incorrect summary of One Piece. It's nothing like dbz and superior in every way. What a way to minimize a global phenomena.

2023-09-27 15:19:21 +0000 UTCSince I’ve seen you’ve been playing RDR2, how about a western series?! A classic is Lonesome Dove (1989), Broken Trail (2006) is good too, both were mini series that aired on TV way back when lol or 1883 (2021), on paramount+. It’s a prequel show to the series Yellowstone, along with 1923, but it works really well on its own as a limited series and it’s very well written and well made.

2023-09-17 12:00:33 +0000 UTCI'd love if you watched Preacher. It's pretty wild and out there but it's such a fun ride. And the mystery of it keeps you hooked.

2023-09-17 06:15:28 +0000 UTCI thought Dexter was pretty good early on but felt the quality really dropped off in the later seasons.

2023-09-16 18:43:35 +0000 UTCI feel like you should watch both rebels and clone wars before ahsoka, i know it would take a long while to do all that but it is so worth it, especially with the latest episode of ahsoka i wont spoil anything but it would be easy to understand everything if you knew the whole story with clone wars and rebels

2023-09-16 18:36:07 +0000 UTCDefinitely watch Rebels first. It’s more condensed than Clone Wars and it’s an easy watch honestly.

2023-09-15 21:36:53 +0000 UTCToo bad you didn't record your reactions, that is one of the best shows for reacting too. Well, I would have to second another request in the comments for Fleabag, it is 2 seasons but only 12 - 30 min episodes, it is weird and wonderful. Or another min-series on Netflix called Godless, if you like awesome westerns. Also, will you ever react to the final Pirates movie, I am going to keep asking :)

2023-09-15 19:22:19 +0000 UTCThe first season of Fargo is great and is not connected to the other seasons so you get everything wrapped up nicely. I believe it's 10 episodes.

2023-09-15 16:26:44 +0000 UTCHey there! One Piece fan here, for almost 20 years, yea. So every anime live action adaption has been total trash. One Piece I thought would turn out the same, but holy hell it's actually not bad at all. Even though they throw in some lore that isn't learned until WAYYY later in the anime, I still enjoyed it. I'm pretty sure it's good because the manga creator Eiichiro Oda kept a very close and vigilant eye during production. He didn't want them messing up his baby. So anyway, I think you should give the 8 episode live action series a go before hopping back into Breaking Bad. I LOVE Breaking Bad, but if you need a break, then One Piece would be a great one. 😊 And I'm totally down for the actual anime watch along. People like using the there's too many episodes excuse to get started, but cmon. That only means there's plenty of content for you to use, especially for times when you're not sure what else to watch lol And that is my long winded opinion.

2023-09-15 15:51:58 +0000 UTCFringe Season 1 a J.J. Abrams series. John Noble (lord of the rings) Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson. Comedy, Spooky, mystery, science, you'll love it.

2023-09-15 02:52:59 +0000 UTCi GENUINELY think you will enjoy one piece. The original is (IMO) the greatest story ever told so yes, while it is a BIG commitment, the live action is certainly a good temperature check to see if you will enjoy the anime :) Thanks for considering our thoughts and even if you arent able to, thanks for being you anyways!

2023-09-15 02:26:29 +0000 UTC1- I haven't watched but I heard it's really good so I think it could be nice. 2-Honestly, you don't need to watch clone wars or rebels to watch Ahsoka but it's a + 3-For a single season series I would recommend The Queen's Gambit, it's a show about chess and really easy to watch.

2023-09-15 01:44:54 +0000 UTCAvatar the Last Airbender. That's what you should watch a season of if you must take a break from breaking bad. Definitely watch the live action one piece. for sure. Also, have you seen squid game?

2023-09-14 23:28:30 +0000 UTCFisrt, good topics! :) 1 - One Pice live action is a great choice! Breaking Bad is a great series but very stressfull at the same time. It's a good thing take a break for a while, recharge your energy and resume the series. After that you start the anime! :) 2 - About Ahsoka, in my opinion, I think you could watch only the essentials episodes of Rebels and Clone Wars about Ahsoka Tano, just to pick details about her. Rebels and Clone Wars are not your/our goal. Ahsoka, on the other hand, it is. So, save your time. You have other projects, remember? 3 - Two excellent 1 season series have already been mentioned: House of the Dragon and Queen's Gambity, but problably you already saw. I saw right? :P P.S. House of the Dragon will bring a LOT of people! Is one of the best spin off I have watched!

2023-09-14 23:26:58 +0000 UTCId say the last season of clone wars and the last season of rebels if you dont want to watch the entire series. I’ve personally never watched rebels but have seen some reallly good clips on youtube but I heard it can be a but too kid friendly. Now clone wars is soooo good. Good mixture of serious tone with some fun times :)

2023-09-14 22:27:48 +0000 UTCI've probably mentioned it before but there's a UK show called Hustle from 2008, following a group of semi-ethical conmen. Very Oceans in its style and really fun :]

2023-09-14 21:09:39 +0000 UTCSherlock (BBC series) Each season is 3 episodes long but they are slightly longer than normal. It's Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes revamped for the modern world. Don't bother with seasons 3 or 4. Interesting but not sure whether it'd be good to react to. Designated Survivor (2016) Kiefer Sutherland plays the President of the United States dealing with the aftermath of a devastating terrorist attack. 24 meets West Wing style. House of the Dragon (2021) the Game of Thrones prequel with lots of shocks, violence, emotional moments to bring the tears and of course Dragons. Having watched Game of Thrones is helpful but not obligatory.

2023-09-14 19:14:18 +0000 UTCNono any short break wouldn't last more than a month! Just a show I'd binge before jumping right back into it - so I wouldn't forget anything 😊

2023-09-14 19:13:58 +0000 UTCIf I were to start Ahsoka now I wouldn't watch all of Clone Wars or Rebels and take that big of a break from BB!I just wanted to hear opinions on if I should watch it without the other two shows but doesn't seem like a good idea! I only wanted a one season show to do in between so that it'd be quick and easy, something that would take me about 3 weeks :) not a year!! So no worries there - that's why I'm leaning towards the One Piece live action because I *REALLLYY* wanna watch it already and not stop myself

2023-09-14 19:12:00 +0000 UTCRegarding One Piece, while I am curious about an anime to live action adaptation. I really do not care. If its just this season that's fine. The anime is too much of a commitment. If you want a single season show I suggest Severance with Adam Scott, or a short show like Fleabag. Another show is Bad Sisters, good mix of drama/comedy and some suspenseful moments. The Queen's Gambit is also great.

2023-09-14 18:28:08 +0000 UTCIf you want a quick 1 season show that is awesome, watch The Queen's Gambit, Anya Taylor-Joy is amazing.

2023-09-14 18:08:19 +0000 UTC1. I heard good things from others about the one piece show. I personally found the first couple episodes so far underwhelming; I do enjoy the special effects. I am super biased though as One Piece is my fav manga 2. watching rebels isn't essential, but you do get a lot more depth when you understand the existing backstory of these characters. I think you can google a list that highlights the essential episodes of Rebels, maybe just watch those? 3. People have made great suggestions already: Ted Lasso and The Queen's Gambit i support in particular

2023-09-14 17:43:08 +0000 UTCOh man, I would absolutely adore a reaction to Station Eleven, I loved it but don't follow any reactors (are there any?) that have reacted to it.
Erik Stevenson
2023-09-14 16:43:53 +0000 UTCI would be OK with both/either Ashoka or Live Action One Piece, as I've been meaning to check both out but haven't really had a great reason to yet. For alternate relatively short one-season shows, I would say Severence (one of the best first seasons of TV I've ever seen, it will eventually have more seasons but the timeline is unclear) or The Queen's Gambit.
Erik Stevenson
2023-09-14 16:40:06 +0000 UTCHaunting of Hill House would be a good way to move into spooky season.

2023-09-14 15:56:28 +0000 UTCI really wouldn't recommend the One Piece anime, if for no other reason its length. If you recorded, edited, and uploaded a reaction every single day, you'd be at this for over three years. Its over a thousand episodes long. As to one off seasons of shows, with October coming up you could try Supernatural. Or if you want a short anime, Girls Und Panzer is only one season long.

2023-09-14 15:16:31 +0000 UTC1 - While I do prefer One Piece manga over both the anime and live action - you aren't a reader reacts channel lol.. The Live Action does a really good job adapting about 45 episodes in 8 hours, but I do have quite a few critiques... story beats and story structure... including a revelation from around anime episode 300 🙄... But don't let that discourage you. A LOT of non-anime fans really got into it, so that's a very good sign in my opinion. If you LOVE the live action my serious One Piece fan for 17 years suggestion to make it to at least around episode 320 of the anime, you probably wouldn't mind the pacing and getting caught up to the beyond 1075 episode.. but the copyright is difficult. If you do I recommend watching other YouTube reactors, specifically OhKaty and RuffSenpai and SMF (Jaimie Uwu) to see the level of editing that has to be done for YouTube. I can even get you the list of filler to skip and filler to watch if you'd like. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need guidance, I know how massive of an undertaking this will be 2- I am not enjoying Ashoka at all... most likely due to not having watching more than a few episodes of Rebels. You probably don't need to watch Clone Wars but definitely I'm not invested in any of the Rebels characters. Honestly, I wouldn't be watching either reactions so I have no horse in this race. 3- Honestly, I'd encourage you to jump into Season 4 of Breaking Bad. It is the best season, and most intense, so I know a lot of people will be waiting for it from you. It'll keep you on the edge of your seat until it's over, but you'll have a great place to break from it between 4 and 5. But a combo One Piece and Breaking Bad might be a good alternative to going full Breaking Bad. I've seen a lot of people talk about Severance, which I do agree with, but I think Ted Lasso is by far the superior show. It's both funny, heart warming, and emotional. Nattie Gold really really enjoyed Ted Lasso, and I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it yet. BUT imo since you're done with S3 of Breaking Bad you could start into Season 1 of Better Call Saul at any time now. Though it's probably ideal to finish Breaking Bad and El Camino first.

2023-09-14 15:00:22 +0000 UTCOne Piece: Yes Please. Best Anime ever. Live Action is also pretty good.

2023-09-14 14:51:19 +0000 UTCDid number 2, you can get by with just highlights from Clone Wars, but you really do want to watch the entire run of Rebels first for best impact, even if you do it offscreen. For 3, I have to second the suggestion for Sandman. It's an exceptional series set in an exceptional world, and there's only one season for now.
Taliesyn
2023-09-14 13:59:36 +0000 UTCIt's not a single season, but I recommend Scrubs for you to watch dear Vicky. You have a lot of heart, and so does the show in it's dramatic comedy way. You are likely to laugh that wonderful laugh and cry that empathetic cry.
Alvin Cura
2023-09-14 13:52:14 +0000 UTCI have no opinions on One Piece or Ahsoka except that the One Piece anime seems like way too much of a commitment. I would personally prefer that you stick to Breaking Bad especially since a long break will probably not help with remembering previous seasons. But, if you do take a short break then the only recommendations that come to mind are True Detective and Fargo. Both are Anthology series so each season is it's own thing and you still get a full story just from one season.

2023-09-14 13:43:43 +0000 UTC3. 'Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency' is a super fun and quirky show, only has two seasons but tbh you could omit the second one if you wanted to. This show is the best visual respresentation of "WTF?" and quite hilarious

2023-09-14 13:25:28 +0000 UTC1. Wasn't the biggest fan of the One Piece anime so I have no real opinion on the live action version. If you want to or believe it'll be good for your channel then obviously go for it. 2. I would recommend the Clone Wars and Rebels, partly to give context but also because they're genuinely some very good storytelling shows. And more Star Wars never hurts. 3. For single seasons of tv shows I'd recommend The Sandman some stunning visuals and something a little different. I'll also say the Legend of Vox Machina is a fantastic animated show.

2023-09-14 12:25:39 +0000 UTC1. Never been a fan of any live action anime adaptation (every one I've seen has been terrible). Also never been a fan of One Piece in general. Solution = you do you :) 2.I've never watched Rebels or Clone Wars, and it took all of 10 minutes to read any relevent info on them before I watched Ahsoka, and none of that info would have changed my enjoyment of the show anyway. Solution = you do you :) 3. Oh God...just a single season? Battlestar Galactica. Solution = you do you :)

2023-09-14 11:51:48 +0000 UTCI personally have no interest in with shoe but I’m sure there are plenty who do want to see those. Two shows I’d like to see would be Marvels “The Punisher” there are two seasons to that show, and “The Pacific” HBO miniseries with 10 episodes.
John Cohen
2023-09-14 11:44:05 +0000 UTCAs a fan of both Breaking Bad and One Piece, I think it would be good to watch the One Piece anime up to episode 45 at least before watching the live action show. You’ll be able to see the difference between both versions well. Of course you’re more than welcome to jump right into the live action if you like. It would be interesting to see the reactions of someone completely uninitiated to the wackiness that is One Piece. 😂 FYI, season 4 of Breaking Bad is the best season of the show, in my opinion. You should get back into it before too long. 👍🏻

2023-09-14 11:38:41 +0000 UTCPersonally I have no interest In either show. I have not seen clone wars, and I have no seen any anime on One Piece to appreciate the artistical liberties and nostalgia of the live action. I say stick to breaking bad but i hear Ahsoka is good star wars, some of the best only if you seen a lot of clone wars and more importantly, Rebels. You may enjoy Ahsoka by not seeing clone wars or Rebels, but you'd LOVE it if you did, is the sentiment. I'd say watch clone wars and rebels or one piece but I don't want a year to go by before reusming breaking bad. You can finish Breaking bad in a small fraction of the time it takes to start and get into clone e wars and one piece. So might as well finish Breaking bad then you can choose to take on much larger projects like those shows. Hopefully you'll consider that approach :)

2023-09-14 10:23:19 +0000 UTCDon't really do anime however I had no idea one piece was taken from it , Im on episode 4 currently and if you decide to watch it as I feel you will really like it I will pause watching so I can watch along with you instead . Ahsoka I'm struggling with episode 3 did me in can't say why cuz spoilers but if you wanna watch it really wanna watch it go for it . One season shows hmmmm well the sandman may appeal to you I enjoyed it sure there are many but minds gone blank rn . Regardless whatever you chose if it makes you happy that's all that matters weather I watch it or not oh wait did you already watch Wednesday ? I'm sure you did cuz I recall a black wig but goldfish memory 🤷 the haunting of hill house and the haunting of bly manor are both excellent.

2023-09-14 09:13:17 +0000 UTCSeverance is probably the smartest show of the 2020s so far and it hits all the emotions. Argh, the cliffhangers, it’s so good. If you watch One Piece it’ll be my excuse to watch it. I was so burnt by live action Cowboy Bebop that I’ve been avoiding it but if it’s actually good why not? I really liked Outer Range on Amazon. It’s a jaw on the floor crazy sci-fi western starring Josh Brolin but it’s a slow burn and won’t get the views of a Marvel or Disney. I have no opinions on any Marvel or Disney shows.
Jacob King
2023-09-14 08:28:14 +0000 UTCLegend of Vox Machina is a fun thing, although there's two seasons of it (although they are very short... 12 episodes per season, 30 mins each episode).

2023-09-14 08:17:33 +0000 UTCOne Piece live action was fantastic, would love to see you react to it, the anime not so much for the same reason i didnt watch it, the commitment of 1000+ episodes is just too high, thats why i jumped in the live action, same answer could be said about Ashoka, and third for sure Severance !

2023-09-14 07:44:27 +0000 UTCRegarding Ahsoka, I've seen none of the Animated Star Wars but am enjoying the show and having no trouble keeping up or understanding characters and relationships. The showmakers provide enough context and backstory.
Kev Martin
2023-09-14 07:41:35 +0000 UTCI'm ambivalent about One Piece. Would give it a go if you watch it, to see if I like it. It looks pretty goofy from the stills and snippets I've seen, so I do wonder if it's something only fans of the anime will love.
Kev Martin
2023-09-14 07:36:48 +0000 UTCSuper super FUN and FUNNY, with only two seasons so far, PLUS pretty much NOBODY has reacted to RESIDENT ALIEN with Alan Tudyk. Season 3 is to start sometime this fall but you could perhaps throw S1 between BrBa S3-4 and S2 of RA between between BrBa S4-5. Just food for thought. You seem to want to do something else... ...and I'm a broken record about this... lol

2023-09-14 07:24:35 +0000 UTCIf you're looking for just one season of a non-anime related series to watch before Breaking Bad, I'd recommend these: SEVERANCE: Apple TV series, science fiction thriller, super fascinating, one of the best new series of the last few years if you ask me HOUSE OF THE DRAGON: I don't know if you watched Game of Thrones and if you're into that at all, but the prequel House of the Dragon is really good, far better than the last few seasons of GoT INVINCIBLE: Animated superhero comic book adaptation but completely apart from anything DC or Marvel (and all the better for it, IMO) with a very unique style and storytelling FLEABAG: technically 2 seasons, but only 12 30-minute episodes in all, brilliant dark-comedy/drama British series with and by everyone's favourite Phoebe Waller-Bridge FARGO: Again more than 1 season but it's an anthology series where every season is a new plotline with new characters, and the first season is the best anyway. With Martin Freeman and Billy Bob Thornton, it's a dark-humor crime thriller with a very unique feel to it.

2023-09-14 06:52:34 +0000 UTCI would rather you watch One Piece over Ahsoka I think, because the previous shows are pretty important to watch, and I can't expect you to pile 2 whole shows on your plate before watching the new one at this time. I might actually be blind and dumb, but if I'm not, I'm fairly certain you haven't seen Avatar The Last Airbender before. I would highly recommend you giving that a watch, as it's literally among the greatest shows of all time. (Literally in the same league of Breaking Bad)

2023-09-14 06:45:07 +0000 UTC1. I think a reaction to the One Piece live-action would be fun. I haven't seen the anime, but have heard decent things. I don't think it's worth doing reactions to the anime though, way too long. 2. I haven't seen Rebels or Clone Wars, but I feel like Ahsoka does a decent job of making sure you know who the character is. If a show can't give you everything you need to know in its one season, it's not doing its job. 3. I don't know if you've seen it or not, but Westworld would be great to do one season. The first season is by far the best and is such a fun first watch. (FYI: It's a bit on the graphic side in terms of violence and nudity)
Slick447
2023-09-14 06:43:29 +0000 UTCSo for clone wars, I would recommend the Mortis Arc (its a 3 episode sequence) and the last season which is 13 eps. You do need all of rebels though. All 4 seasons have key pieces and Ahsoka doesn't fill in a ton, so if you haven't seen that, you may be lost or miss some things. If you are looking to kinda speed rush it. Seasons 3 and 4 of Rebels because it introduces Thrawn, which is one of the stated themes of the show. Also Season 4 explains a lot of where the characters leave off. Also the last 2 episodes of Season 2 are a MUST WATCH.
Justin
2023-09-14 06:33:15 +0000 UTCIf you want shows to watch in-between Breaking Bad my recommendations are POKER FACE (1 season) STATION ELEVEN (1 season) THE BEAR (2 seasons) MR. ROBOT (4 seasons) SUCCESSION (4 seasons)
Matt
2023-09-14 06:30:22 +0000 UTCIn my opinion you shouldn't react to any of these two for the time being. Every reactor is doing Ahsoka and One Piece at the moment and it gets tyring to see the same content over and over again. Stick to BB and some movies.

There are much shorter but more iconic series available on streaming, like Ranma 1/2 turning up subbed and dubbed on Tubi.

2023-09-14 06:20:04 +0000 UTCYou can probably find enough recaps of Clone Wars and Rebels to know what's going on in Ahsoka, but it's not necessary.

2023-09-14 06:19:23 +0000 UTCWatch Rebels first! Besides being some of the best modern Star Wars, it will make watching Ahsoka much more satisfying.

2023-09-14 06:17:35 +0000 UTCReacting to the One Piece anime is quite an undertaking considering it’s 1000+ episodes. You can absolutely start Ahsoka but after last nights episode… there’s some things that are just gonna hit harder if you’ve seen the show. They introduce some wild ideas that are totally new to Star Wars in Rebels and Ahsoka.

2023-09-14 06:13:27 +0000 UTCWell, my opinion might be a tad outside the mainstream but I am gonna give it anyway. I would LOVE to see you watch the animated show RWBY. It is seriously one of my favorite shows AND one of the things about it is that you can watch it one episode at a time OR watch it as a complete season like a long movie. (If you survived LOTR, which you did, I believe you can handle this show, one season at a time. It has a great story, great characters NO mary rey sues, well worth your time in my opinion.

2023-09-14 06:13:10 +0000 UTC1. No opinion. 2. I’ve seen none of the animated stuff and I’m loving Ahsoka. But I also watched summary videos. 🤷🏻♂️ 3. Severance. It’s so good. It’s getting a second season but it’s only 1 season atm. I have spoken. 👁️👄👁️
