🌅🍊Poll #1! What are we watching together? :)🍊🌅
Added 2023-08-29 17:29:12 +0000 UTCI put Limitless on 2 options by accident, I'll only be counting the one with most votes not combining so please choose the first Limitless option!!
Hi friends!!! Hope you're all having a great summer!! 🥰🏖️🍹💖🪴
Going back to alternating polls so we can do them more often and I swap more suggestions!! There are quite a few of the same movies on these polls, but don't stress about it!! With each poll I check comments and if a movie is popular in comments but never wins, I'll eventually do it so don't worry if a film you really like has been on the polls for what seems like forever!!
Its important for me to gauge what you guys would be interested in seeing, to make it as fair as possible (✿◡‿◡)
Let me know what you'd like to see me watch eventually, what you would like swapped/in etc.. your opinion is very important to me.😊
Thank you to everyone voting for these great movies and for all of the recs. ❤️🥰
I hope everyone is enjoying their week 😇Wishing you all a wonderful rest of your day. 💝

I'm so glad that O brother where art thou won on this poll. It's about time lol I love that movie so much. Some great movies to add to the next poll I think would be “tombstone” and then the “labyrinth”. Two entirely different movies but both great!

2023-09-04 02:57:02 +0000 UTCLimitless is such a great NY movie and tv show, have you watched Manhattan Love Story? Has the guy from Limitless and guest star as leads in genius romantic comedy set in NY.
Baron
2023-09-04 00:53:53 +0000 UTCApparently it can lose a limitless number of times too. I've yet to see a reaction to that film, not that I'm trying all that much.
Richard Maurer
2023-09-02 16:17:04 +0000 UTCHellboy (2004 film) not the 2019 one.

2023-08-30 21:37:55 +0000 UTCYou can put Limitless on as many times as you like, hence the name.

2023-08-30 20:30:11 +0000 UTCI wanna put Dredd and Tombstone on upcoming movie lists.

2023-08-30 18:51:52 +0000 UTCWas that before or after the oceans drank Atlantis, and the rise of the Sons of Aryas?

2023-08-30 18:50:48 +0000 UTCYa, original Hellboy for sure, not the failed reboot.

2023-08-30 18:49:59 +0000 UTCI remember doing a blog post one time on 47 Ronin's inherent racism, not only with White Savior Keanu, but of 00's Hollywood trying to kiss up to Tokyo audiences (Memoirs of a Geisha, Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift) but utterly uninterested in any folklore history that DIDN'T have kewl native demons and special-FX monsters in it. And then updating it to our 10's attempt to kiss up to China, with Matt Damon defending the Great Wall from toothy CGI monsters...
Eric Janssen
2023-08-30 05:03:02 +0000 UTC47 Ronin is not good. One of the greatest stories of all time turned into incomprehensible CGI gibberish. Not even Keanu’s charisma can save it. On the other hand Ronin (1998) is an incredibly cool old school spy movie with Robert DeNiro, Sean Bean and Jean Reno. It’s a dad movie that is also a work of art.

2023-08-30 04:07:20 +0000 UTCIt does occur to me that as a consequence of not having watched Westerns you may be missing obvious Western tropes in playing Red Dead. So perhaps a couple of vanilla modern Western movies would be fun to react to, such as Open Range. or even Tombstone

2023-08-30 01:36:04 +0000 UTCI am just gonna mention Inside Out on every poll xD
FatLittleButterfly
2023-08-30 01:23:14 +0000 UTCVoted for Her. Very intriguing premise in this movie and nice performance by Joaquin Phoenix. Didnt see anyone react to that yet either.

2023-08-30 01:16:23 +0000 UTCI don't know if you're agreeing with me or if that's a sick burn... so I'll just wish you all the best. ✌️

2023-08-30 01:04:55 +0000 UTCO brother! Is a fun movie that you will definitely like Vee, but the best movies in this poll are 2001: ASpace Odyssey and Once Upon a time in Hollywood, so If you can check them out eventually.

2023-08-30 01:03:27 +0000 UTC….Now you’re just trolling, right? 😂
Eric Janssen
2023-08-30 00:32:02 +0000 UTCAnd I’m just going to wait till anyone takes it seriously before complaining about pro-militarist propaganda that never seemed to have watched the old films in its life.

2023-08-29 23:26:42 +0000 UTCO Brother, proof that the Coens should have stuck to musicals.
Eric Janssen
2023-08-29 23:23:40 +0000 UTCFun fact Vee, Vince Gilligan (the creator of Breaking Bad) was one of the writers of Hancock. Not that you should expect the same level as BrBa lol.
Chris Shine
2023-08-29 22:22:45 +0000 UTCSucks that rememebr the Titans is getting forgotten, again. Vee, should react to it anyway for suprise reaction.

2023-08-29 21:07:01 +0000 UTCPlease will you consider reacting to the following films in October, 1950 (Harvey) with James Stewart, 1958 (Bell, Book & Candle) with Kim Novak, James Stewart & Jack Lemmon, both are lighter options. For the first week in November, the 2005 film (V for Vendetta ), with Hugo Weaving, Natalie Portman, John Hurt & Stephen Fry. The latter is an Action / Sci-Fi film.
Long-time Sci-Fi Enthusiast
2023-08-29 20:36:34 +0000 UTCAlso gonna suggest Domino(2005), Natural Born Killers(1994), and Lucky Number Slevin(2006)

2023-08-29 19:56:06 +0000 UTCO Brother is a crowd pleaser. Always an enjoyable watch.
Joe Blankenship
2023-08-29 19:54:36 +0000 UTCThat's Conan the Barbarian(1982), right? Not the 2011 remake or Conan the Destroyer(1984)?
mikethemotormouth
2023-08-29 19:50:36 +0000 UTCI am surprised to see Insomnia on here. It isn't as well known as Nolan's other movies but it is really Al Pacino's and Robin Williams' film at the end of the day. I hope Memento lands on a poll someday though. Her I remember being beautifully shot and offers commentary on modern day relationships. Oh Brother is really funny and also directed by the Coen's. Tarantino's latest was one of his most mature films. 2001... Love it or hate it, it is definitely an experience.

2023-08-29 19:45:09 +0000 UTCWho the shit is voting for that crappy Handcock Will Smith movie, way better movies on this list to be voting for yall 😂
LightsCameraJake
2023-08-29 19:33:13 +0000 UTCQuite a varied list here. :) 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY is definitely a masterpiece, but you have to give some time to it; it's not one you can just "casually" watch. :)
Bryan Tuck
2023-08-29 19:11:59 +0000 UTC2001 is a MUST WATCH no matter what, one of the greatest movies of all time
Mathieu Paquin
2023-08-29 19:03:02 +0000 UTCWould love to see a reactor watch a more intelectual piece! 2001 space odyssey!

2023-08-29 19:00:55 +0000 UTCDude I think o brother where art thou deserves the win. It’s a shame it didn’t win on the last poll it was on. That movie is amazing and it’s a shame if you never see it.

2023-08-29 19:00:46 +0000 UTCJust gonna write in Shin Godzilla right here. 😁

2023-08-29 18:53:36 +0000 UTCSo...are you just going to combine the votes for limitless from its two spots? Seems like an unfair advantage...
Kevin C
2023-08-29 18:49:49 +0000 UTCPlease don’t watch Hancock. It’s a bad movie.

2023-08-29 18:41:14 +0000 UTCNo shiz. Then follow it with the TV show.

2023-08-29 18:08:52 +0000 UTC2004 Hellboy, right? 2019 reboot was...not great. I highly recommend the directors cut. Highly.

2023-08-29 18:02:20 +0000 UTCI voted for 2 films that ask that eternally profound question, Oh, Brother, Where For Art Thou True Romance?
Robert Jewell
2023-08-29 17:50:33 +0000 UTC2001 is one of my all-time favorite films, yet I can't recommend it as a reaction subject.

2023-08-29 17:49:23 +0000 UTC47 Ronin is really cool with some great fx ... based on actual Japanese legend

2023-08-29 17:41:19 +0000 UTCAnything other than 2001 a space Odyssey it's probably the most overrated films in history just awful truly awful . therefore it will probably win 🤦 but hey if thats the case then that's what the majority wants so it's fine 🙂 not sure if it wins I even want to vote on future polls tbh but hey we will see
Ian
2023-08-29 17:41:05 +0000 UTCRmemeber the Titans 100% one of the most amazing true stories out there
