Breaking Bad (Season 3 Ep 8) | Full Length Reaction!

Hey guys! Sorry for the extended break! I took a mini camping trip this weekend instead of watching more content to avoid burnout 🥲 I hope you guys understand! Anyway on to BREAKING BAD!!!!!!!! only cried at the end a little bit thats it

Breaking Bad (Season 3 Ep 8) | Full Length Reaction!

Comments

So you back Marie about the DEA getting blamed for a hit they knew nothing about with protocol. Yet when she criticises Walt, "she's gone too far". Biased. ;) Marie isn't in the right about any of it, but at her state of mind, its completely understandable that she lashes out. Walt actually shows some humility for once, during his speech to Marie. He's correct, he isn't "half the man" Hank is.

Saltire

Gus already knows that Hank is Walts brother in law. When Gus showed up to the station to donate for Walt in front of Hank.

Now that you're seeing Gus' character, imagine when we saw Giancarlo Esposito in The Mandalorian. We were so hyped!

James M

I noticed the "not saying goodbye" thing too, but I imagine Gus and Walt having this intense phone conversation and following it up with... "well, goodbye!" It would be so comically awkward.

Loved this reaction! First, loved the look you gave just before you started the episode, like “what am I in for today?!” Loved the “asshat” comment! Lol. Also, I’ve noticed a lot of times in movies and television, people tend to skip saying goodbye before hanging up the phone. It’s weird! Hope you enjoy the rest of this season!

Your absolutely right about things being mentioned and tending to come back later as plot points. I don't think there are too many throwaway lines that lead to nothing. I also don't think there is any "filler" episodes. The plot is usually progressed in some way or you are learning something else about the characters. It looks like Hank is going to be out of action for a while though. Gus single handedly threatened his life and may have prevented his death too. He is truly the one in control over this whole situation.

Mike was able to get to the assassin due to another of Gus' manipulations. Buy chicken for all the police at the hospital freed up Mike to get to him. Gus is savage.

Hope you had fun camping! Sleeping in nature always helps reset my system. It's easy to forget how traumatic this show is the first time through. Even if you've seen it 10x through it's STILL heavy on the mind body and soul. I, like many others have commented in the beginning saying to binge it, but TOTALY understand needing to take breaks. So please for your mental health don't feel obligated to get it done fast. and enjoy it while it lasts. because it will be over all too soon and it's one of those shows that's so powerful when it finishes you come out a different person and feeling like life isn't the same anymore. So, cherish it and watch it at a pace that allows you to enjoy it, and not just to please us greedy content consumers. lol! <3

It always cracks me up that Mike is in this ep for literally 2 seconds. So Jonathan Banks' day that day was literally: Drive to the set, get in makeup, wait for lighting, "ACTION!" Drop the needle, "CUT!" Go home. AND he'd still get paid the same for this ep whether he's in it for 2 seconds, or every single scene. It's an interesting business.

It's implied that Gus was the only person that knew the terminator twins were going after Hank since he told them to target him.

LightsCameraJake

Did you forget Gus had the conversation with the Twins and told them to stop going after Walt and instead go for Hank? Excited for this reaction :)

Balkyne

Did you sing campfire songs and roast smores? Sounds like a grand ole time. I'm glad you are keeping track of your mental health so you can keep being happy doing what you love. Everybody should go camping at least once a year 😀

"We love Hank"? I thought we agreed Hank deserved everything coming to him? /s /lh /I'm Joking Now that we're over S3E8 we're getting into the halfway point. Five more episodes until Vee is halfway done with the show. I'm excited! Edit: Thank you for wishing all of us not having to be in a similar (or exact same situation) as Hank/Marie. I wish I had that at the beginning of July - my dad, who has severe balance issues, tried to change the batteries for a smoke detector at 430am in the morning, fell, and broke his hip. My mom, of course, was hours away, so I spent the 4th of July convincing him to go to the hospital, then in the hospital with him. He's fine he's fine, total routine procedure for hospitals and men his age. But definitely, while not as terrible as Hank's situation, was still a very stressful experience.

Only one person knew that the “gruesome twosome” were(was?)targeting Hank.
