Snacking while reacting is annoying and I could hear you crunch. Yikes! Other than that, awesome reaction!

Mr. Nobody

It didn't do as well as his other movie franchises but I really found the story intriguing.

I would love for you to watch 2013s OBLIVION with Tom Cruise as well one of these days. One of my favorite Sci Fi movies and I think you'd love it Vee!

FireGamer95

Dont mind the snacking, just don't look away and miss something xD and probably not too crunchy you miss a line or something. You like alien invasion war movie... Have you watched Independence day or War of the Worlds (Tom cruise)? Edit* My understanding is that the omega blood allowed him to travel back in time, but the Omega is dead from all of this timeline, because it exist in this timeline or not at all. So the Omega died in all points of time and he managed to travel back to an earlier moment.

Great reaction Vee, seeing you snacking is great, I always enjoy a snack and a drink during a movie, grab a pepsi next time! lol

The best way to explain the ending, I'm my interpretation, is that the Omega has an earlier Save point to the Alphas. At the start, Cage get the Blue Alpha blood on him as he dies and then time resets the day, then at the end he gets the Omega's blood on him as he dies and resets to an earlier point in time. I assume the Omega would have set an earlier point in time to reset so it had more time to plan the events of the next day.

It took me like 20 years to stop saying GroundhogS Day, 🤭 before I finally bought the Blu-ray and found out it's a singular Groundhog Day. So it makes me feel better knowing that others are also victim to it's Mandela Effect. Been there.

YodatheHobbit

You snacking doesn't bother me haha

I don't think a sequel can come. In the original storie (the manga "all you need is kill") that could be possible but with the movie version, the omega is the only "chief" of the aliens and part of europe is the only land conquered by them. Even if the manga is only two tomes, I think the movie was made this way for more actions and to bemore understandable for the public.

Please watch Ruby Sparks

I assumed that Cage inherited the Omega's power but I am not sure why that reset him back on the chopper. I know this is based on a book but I think it varies differently from it and is more ambiguous. This movie was well received but didn't do well at the box office. I think everyone is onboard for a sequel if it ever happens though.

Vee, one of the most underrated tom cruise movies ever, but also one of Tom Cruises favorite movies he ever worked on (according to him personally) is a sci fi movie called "Oblivion" I recommend watching this at some point. It came out a year before Edge of Tomorrow. Tom was in his Sci fi mode.

i don't really hear much munching if you're snacking. if you were like snapping crab legs i might get annoyed but nothing you've eaten has ever annoyed me on video

Dale Diaz

I wished he would have told the troops what they did and the sacrifice they did to save the world

Loved this one, V! I'm pretty sure all of us who voted knew you'd enjoy this movie. When this was released it was a great, smart, and quality unexpected sci-fi summer surprise from out of nowhere, much like Dredd. As you noted during the reaction, Edge of Tomorrow takes a huge cue from gaming culture (live, die, repeat) and made me appreciate all those hours I dumped into impossible platform games in the 80s and 90s. When you said you'd save everyone in J Squad I immediately flashed back to Mass Effect 2 when I had to use a FAQ and save scumming to create a timeline where every member of the Normandy survived the suicide run. At the end you pointed out it was tough to get attached to the characters, and I get that. My only minor complaint about this flick is that I wanted even more Emily Blunt in this movie and a bit more on the love story aspect (can't believe I said that), but that's because I'm kind of biased when she's in the equation. As always, thanks for the reaction! Oh! Also you just keep snacking to your heart's content. Doesn't detract in the least.

SNack away, I doubt anyone is bothered.

I took forever to see this one but it definitely exceeded expectations! Fun stuff! The fact that it has another title ("Live Die Repeat") just tells me that marketing execs had no idea what to do with this one. Too clever for its own good!
