Season 2 coming in 2025!!

YES honestly going into this I thought it was a one season show but they made it so obvious it’s only the beginning around the end of the season and that makes me so happy!! I’m fully invested 🥰

AAAHHHHH THAT MAKES SENSE!! I thought it was the other way around because Perrin sort of gave that kind of vibe of not being the greatest husband and apparently already had a track record of doing it, therefore it seemed on brand that he would do it again. Thank you so much for clarifying that for me :)

I NEED SEASON 2. These reactions were so good Vee, this show was so good. That end credits scene went hard too.

Very well put, this show feels so relevant today, and I also agree with the interpretation on Mon Mothma throwing Perrin under the bus.

This was great V, and I didn't notice the sniffles until you pointed it out. Not noticeable for me at least. Anyway, so glad you reacted to this, Andor needs all the hype and reactions and word of mouth so that more people watch it. This episode and the prison break episode were so well done I couldn't sit down on my first watch, that's how excited I got. It really gets you emotionally invested, and I love how it's basically a show about regular people, not jedi or sith, just regular people fighting back. Also like the comments above mentioned Mon Mothma was the one lying not Perrin. She knows her driver works for ISB, she mentioned it to Luthen a few episodes back. So she put on an act, made up a story of Perrin gambling again because she knows her driver listens and reports it to the empire. Mon Mothma wants the Imperials to think that any financial problems are do to Perrin's gambling instead of Mon Mothma funding rebel activities. And it worked, they're looking at Perrin's activities instead of her. And not to defend Perrin because he's awful, but I felt bad for the guy because he was being accused of something he didn't do and seemed genuinely hurt. Finally, I don't think Perrin is happy with his daughter doing this betrothal stuff, Mon has said the Perrin doesn't care about "traditions" and judging by his face at the end scene he seems upset at this whole thing. That was my interpretation, I could be wrong, maybe I was misreading Perrin's expression.

I think you may have misinterpreted the scene between Mon and Perrin in the car/speeder a bit. Either that or perhaps I did? The way I took it was that she's shifting the fault of the missing money she's gathered to help the rebellion which The Empire is investigating, and instead is pinning in on gambling debts that he hasn't actually done. She's throwing him under the bus and essentially framing him to cover her tracks in gathering money for the rebellion. Though it appears he's had gambling problems in the past since he said he's "kept his promise", I think he's innocent of what she's accusing him of now, but heck... since he's a douche, I guess that's okay, right? 😁 🤷‍♂️ I thought she was using his old gambling problem as a diversion that she's knows her driver will listen in on, since she knows he's an Imperial spy in order to throw them off. Your sniffles have never been bothersome to me! They let us know that you're emotionally invested in the moments and scenes. They are typically present in good, honest reactions. My opinion is that there NEVER a reason to apologize for them! So cool that Maarva's still physically hurting the Empire, emotionally and literally after death. Awesome how Maarva's brick didn't break on that guy's face. XD She was tough, and so is her brick. I feel like Andor must've been written mostly in 2020. I would be surprised if it wasn't because I could see so many parallels between the BLM protests, police and national guard taking away the rights of peaceful protesters which turn into riots, and this episode(mostly in Maarva's speech). I can't wait to see Season 2. They've either recently finished filming it, or perhaps they still are filming right now. Luckily the scripts were written just before the writers strike happened.

Exactly :D

Just a small detail, I don't think Perrin is really gambling and gaslighting Mon in the scene in the car: if anything it's the opposite, Mon is faking a gambling problem from Perrin to mislead the empire and provide a plausible explanation for her missing funds (that were used for the resistance). That's why she did that in the car, where the imperial driver could report it :)
