I have two predictions on who your favorite character will be, and technically you havenโt met either one yet. Canโt wait to see if Iโm right. But I completely agree with you about Sasha, sheโs definitely in my top 5 favorites!

Often an older friend (even just 1 year older) can be called Big Sister or Big Brother simply because of the status of the position that friend is representing. Mikasa takes care of and looks out for Eren so the family will often use words indicating Mikasa is seen as a elder sibling but as the kids get older it can often create a close relationship, often portrayed as a budding intimacy where one of the individuals has feelings and the other is oblivious to the feels. Common anime trope, actually.

Episode 3 is 2 years later, they mentioned the titan attack was 2 years ago during the recruit inspection at the start of the episode, slight spoiler for ages in the following: They were 10 in episode 1 and 2 , so they are currently 12-13 in this episode :) .
