2023-07-11 04:19:12 +0000 UTCWhen I originally watched this episode, I watched Kino Loy talking on the speakers to the prison, encouraging the uprising, and thought that would be a monologue used in acting schools for decades to come. Then Luthen appeared on a handrail-less balcony and gave the monologue of the 21st century. Gawd-damn. The acting. The writing. Just…awe-inspiring.

We never know what will happen to our stuff after we die. Especially if we were a leader or elected official. 2023-07-01 06:38:22 +0000 UTCI think this is one of the best episodes. The prison break was so intense I couldn't sit down when I first watched this episode, I was just too excited. Mon Mothma dealing with a crime boss, and finding out that Lonni was a rebel all along. Then there's Luthen's speech which is epic. They put a lot into this episode. I'm not sure if anybody mentioned it but Andy Serkis who played Kino Loy was Gollum in the Lord of the Rings. He was also Snoke in the new star wars trilogy.

2023-07-01 00:55:46 +0000 UTCThe saddest part about Kino is when they get to the top and they can all escape, he’s not able to join everyone else. It’s a parallel to when Moses saved the Hebrew slaves in Egypt. After saving the slaves he was unable to join the Hebrews in the promised land. And of course Andy Serkis’ acting is just amazing, as is everyone else’s in this show.
