Alita Battle Angel | Full Length Reaction!

Thanks for sharing this was such a great reaction, I also just watched your Fight Club reaction so I am curious if you noticed that Edward Norton is Nova? You hardly see him in the movie at all, so maybe they are setting up for sequels I also am hoping for more Battle Angel movies.

Should have known it would be awesome! James Cameron (Avatar, Titanic) did this with Robert Rodriguez, Also it was a 90's anime not sure if they have it on Crunchyroll or not.

I thought Alita would have fallen into the uncanny valley, but she really grown on me really fast. The sequel is in development!

I never read the manga. My familiarity is from the anime film. This was one of my first animes that i watched on my own (without anyone suggesting it, that is). I loved it. It felt like this hidden secret of an anime film. Odd and amazing with no people in my circles knowing anything about it. Like this was before i knew that mangas existed. Just thought there were these weird stories flowing out of japan without any inspiration, lol. This was also around the time I first encounter Wizards, the animated film, also extremely odd without having any knowledge of any wars or history. Like I was young, lol. Alita was probably my first crush without me even knowing what crushes were; that kinda young. So, of course, I loved this film too.. Very happy this beat Schindler's List, lol.

I found and baught the very first volume of the manga in a comic shop when it first came to Germany. Did't buy any more but from what I remember the style was realy dirty, like sketches, as if the artist had a story to tell and just rushed it because he was exited. I know it was intentional, but the style was quite strange at first. Not bad, just as if a friend wants to tell you something that just happened and he speaks quickly and all excited. That, as a drawing :) No clue how it evolved over the years, but if it stayed that way I am sure that people filled the gaps with imagination, and that makes it very hard, if not impossible, for a film maker to transorm it into a movie. Because everyone has his own idea about it. If you have a very well established art style that is more realistic all you have to do is decide if you want to make changes or not. I liked the way the movie looked. Some things were stupid, like the rocket hammer weapon. It looks nice in a picture with a bit "smash!" next to it, but if you see him carry it around you instantly understand you can't fight like that. But these things didn't bother me because it was silly in a funny way. About a sequel: I think it was planned but cancled when the movie failed to meet expectations, correct? Plus I would like to know if this is a case of super compressed story telling. It feels to me as if many plot elements were cut very short. Any Manga reader able to tell me if that is true?

Stayed up 3 hours after my bedtime to watch your reaction to this movie. One of my favorite movies that doesn't get enough credit, and doesn't get enough love. I wish they would make the sequel. Especially love the "F your Mercy!" line! Everyone "Woo Hoo"ed in the theater when I saw it originally at that moment! Hope everyone else loves this movie too. Not enough reactors reacting to it. Good pick!
