Breaking Bad (Season 2 Ep 3) | Full Length Reaction!

Comments

This is definitely one of the more emotionally battering episodes. lol

Jonah Bertorelli

The chocolatey river of Meth...LOL

David Cansler

Cranston is amazing. At the time this first showed, I had only known him from Malcolm in the Middle and sitcoms, which was even more astonishing. Not to mention, this is a great episode (and season) for Aaron Paul and breakout acting performances.

James M

Don't get me wrong I'm rewatching the full versions of a couple/few. But not going to rewatch them all. lol

Jonah Bertorelli

So I subbed to watch breaking bad as it gets released and was like "oh I'll just watch all the other content I haven't seen in between to fill the void." and turns out I've watched pretty much EVERY youtube version of your reaction content. Lol oops. Just sitting and waiting now. hahaha

Walt's lies are beginning to pile up and just like that painting, it is creating separation between him and his family. You did mention how this didn't feel like a plot heavy episode and there are several like that. It still manages to be riveting to watch because you are seeing people deal with the repercussions of their actions and the acting remains on point along with the writing.

We all need a friend like Gomie

You don't seem very thrilled with the amount of Bryan Cranston's pasty white ass in this show. I hope that's your only complaint. LOL But you're right it is a reoccurring theme. I forget if it happens again, But I wouldn't be surprised. LOL

Jonah Bertorelli

Yeah, there are many aspects of this show that are super realistic. they tried to depict it as accurately as possible. I've been told by people who have done drugs and been around things like meth deals or people smoking it, that they claim the show to be VERY accurate in many of those avenues as well. I bet if you asked someone who's killed about their reactions or emotions after they inadvertently or even intentionally kill someone, like Crazy 8 and Emilio that they'd probably admit some accuracy there too. lol A lot of the chemistry was also made accurate although some things were slightly embellished, like the random explosiveness of pulmonated mercery. That was one of the Hollywood "make it bigger" effects. lol

Great recap after the episode. This one really highlights the gulf widening between Walt and his family, symbolized by the hospital painting of a man rowing out to sea as his wife and child wave goodbye. The scene where he is forced to watch his family from a darkened room because he had to hide his money and pistol is so sad.

I don't know if you've had to spend any significant time in a hospital, either as a patient or just visiting a loved one. But I can assure you, walking in and out of a hospital is the easiest thing in the world. Nobody pays any attention to anyone walking around, even in the late hours of the night, long past 'visiting hours'. I LOVE this shows, and I am seriously loving your reactions to it! And thank you so much for pushing these reactions out so regularly and quickly. It makes my day every time I see a new one is posted!
