Great reaction Vee, I never disliked this film at all, I liked Bond's emotional journey in the film and actually dig the whole corruption plot behind the evil conservation company plot. Only annoyances I had was the seemingly weak characters for the CIA and their actual role in the plot and the other is that the end fight scene is quite weak , why were they not prepared for Bond at all? Why did they get a hotel in the middle of the desert for like 10 people? Also they never showed the dam getting blown up and getting water back to the country. The next film though, very good!

2023-06-16 10:48:29 +0000 UTCI thought it was a great movie love all the 007. Daniel Craig is one of my favorite 007s. VKunia you should watch the original actor who played 007 Sean Connery he played 007 from the 1960s and 1970s I think he came back for one last movie in the 1980s.

2023-06-16 01:23:39 +0000 UTCThe interesting thing about this one is that it it may not have had a complete script or not a very robust one when they actually started filming. Craig had to assist with rewriting the script as well and he said it was a shitshow. I initially hated it when I first watched but over time I have seen it as a decent continuation of Casino Royale, especially when considering what they had to work with. The next one however is one of Craig's best if not the best of his series.

But they did Mathis dirty, they framed him for treason in Casino Royale, and then this. Though Bond did get revenge on that guy who had him killed. Also that conman/spy at the very end who entrapped Vesper and was trying to entrap the Canadian woman was in the Mandalorian. He was in the last few episodes of the Mandalorian season 3, he was one of the Mandalorians who worked for Bo-Katan

That cheeky statement aside; I can't really think of too much significant wrong with the film except the misfortune of being between "Casino Royale" and "Skyfall". Both of which I consider great Bond films. As to the henchman's hair styling... Come on; we need to be more generous. It simply needed proper accessorizing, after all it looked better coupled with the neck brace. ;)

Quick note: I know this film gets slammed a lot, but I think it’s best when viewed together with Casino Royale, as it’s a continuation of that story. This one certainly has a lot more action and less story than CR, but is still a sufficient part 2.
