Can we get 3 soon?

Joe Mallard

The biggest problem with this one is that it’s biggest, most intense moment is the trailer sequence and it never manages to top that.

djKENTO

True, but most of this movie was filmed in Northern California… and it looks like it haha.

This was the first Jurassic Park film I saw in theaters. I have so much love for it. The music is one of my favorite themes because of the jungle feel of it all. I used to listen to the sound track as a kid while going to bed. πŸ˜‚

panacamanana

all the Jurassic movies were filmed in Hawaii

One step closer to getting to Jurassic World, great reaction! If you wanna see a movie series about animals taking over the planet, you should watch the Rise, Dawn and War of the Planet of the Apes.

Velociraptor driving a helicopter? I raise you. A Velociraptor that IS the Helicopter: https://i.imgflip.com/7cyfjv.jpg

There were suppose to be a part about how Velociraptors sneaked on the ship and massacred the crew, but they cut it and made the transition a little weird

2 is probably my favorite. I liked all the films including the new trilogy and i don't care what anyone else think about them xD I will watch any more trilogy if they made them because.... Dinosaurs!

I haven't seen this movie and years I do agree the Hunters are terrible I miss the Jurassic park movies I'm gonna rewatch them.

As much as I love all the Jurassic films, they did trip quite a few times with each film. Are they perfect? No (except for the first one). Are they fun? Mostly. They tried to give some humor but the humor is always a little off, kind of like 'dad jokes'. The continuity is off too but that mostly comes down to cost and re-shoots. One scene that I love that almost everyone misses, near the beginning. When the team sees the InGen helicopters for the first time. Ian grabs the binoculars and uses them backwards,. lol. They play off the quirkiness too much as well and pull focus from the trauma Ian had in the first one. Like there is a scene when he is in the trailer with his daughter for the first time and tells her to go outside because the adults are talking and then flips on her when she opens the door. But Sarah dismisses it because she is offended that he isn't paying attention to her and the film follows her dismissal and not Ian's almost bipolar trauma reaction. I thought that was a really important scene that gets glossed over. Ian is a chaotian, always thinking about how chaos rules the universe. His mind since the first film must be a constant ocean of stress. then he is forced to use what little knowledge as he has about dinosaurs, to survive again, in a world full of bravado idiots (his perspective). I feel the ridiculousness of the film is amped up because we are seeing the world through the eyes of Ian being surrounded by a bunch of people that don't take him seriously. But also, the first film was an isolated incident, so of course the world wouldn't take the ravings of one guy who believes in chaos (almost to a conspiracy level) seriously about dinosaurs on a tiny island in the pacific.

The guy getting killed by the compys (the small dinos) is a swedish actor named Peter Stormare, as a young kid watching this in the cinema back in 97, it was so cool hearing him swear in Swedish in a big hollywood movie like this as he's being chased.

Rippan

I unironically love this movie, but I recognize a lot of that is probably just nostalgia from seeing it literally one billion times as a 10-year old who was into dinosaurs when it came out.

Erik Stevenson

Jurassic 3 is my favorite one xD. Idk, i actually like all the movies even the newest ones which are a must watch.

LightsCameraJake

It has its moments. But lots of stuff in it is just plain ridiculous. How did the T- Rex eat everybody if he was closed up in the ship? He ate everybody, got back in, and closed the door?
