As a massive Christopher Nolan fan, I really enjoy seeing people watch these films for the first time :) Early in your reaction, you say "His accent is really good", which made me chuckle, since Bale, Jackman and Caine were all just speaking in their normal accents! 😅 I know it's been a while since this was originally posted, I hope you've moved on from this trauma and managed to watch it again with the knowledge of what's actually going on 😊
