2023-05-01 21:32:05 +0000 UTCI think one of the biggest takeaways from this episode is when Walt is describing chemistry to his students. It really sets up what the show is really about. Most people hadn't even heard of this show until they started putting it on Netflix and I am thankful they did because it likely would have been cancelled. Your are absolutely right about the "show not tell" storytelling and this show does it alot, especially through the acting. By the way, this season is shorter than the rest because there was a writers strike while they were in production, so they just started season 2 when they were able to resume production.

2023-05-01 21:07:53 +0000 UTCIt starts out very different than you would think, but it's a wild ride that you'll be glad you took! I think one of the things that helps with the overall viewing experience for this show is to make sure you know when breaks in the airing of the seasons occur. AMC likes to break some seasons up in to parts when airing on TV, so you'll randomly see tension rise and fall, which can feel weird to people who are watching (fairly quickly) after the fact. Same kind of thing with The Walking Dead (which I don't recommend 😂)
