Since the first one did so well, they doubled the budget for the sequel. As a person living in Miami, it's nice to see a snapshot of the city from that era, lots of things have changed. The Miami Dolphins did have a live dolphin at the stadium for home games. It wasn't actually named Snowflake though. It actually was a more famous dolphin called Flipper that actually had it's own show. The dolphin didn't actually live there full time, it was transported from the Miami Seaquarium for the home games. Part of the logistics of temporarily holding and transporting the dolphin is the main reason they stopped having the dolphin there for the games.
